ATEMU install with SERIALNINE!

- Hang out with us as we install an AT Emulator on Ryan's JZS161 Aristo. The Aristo is powered by the same 2JZ-GTE that is swapped into many other cars. If you've ditched the AT transmission and are using the stock ECU then this ATEMU is required to realize the full potential of the engine. Without the ATEMU the engine runs in a semi limp mode and is lacking torque and response compared to when it had the stock AT transmission.
Head over to www.SERIALNINE.com for more info.
Dang I’m on the same boat. I’ve had the unit since before I got the manual swap done (in April) but haven’t done emulator. Besides CEL car seems to run fine but if you say it runs better I should probably get on it.
If i ever manual swap my Aristo .. this will surely come in handy lol.
Just ordered! I've been plagued with low power and super rich fuel in my jzx110 / R154 swap with the AT ecu.. Bet this does the trick.
Ryan: I have a clutch at home...
G: what is it?
Ryan: aghhh........
Clutch at home: I'm not the right clutch
When you assume.... well you know...
Dope video! Gonna have to buy one of these, manual swapped my jzx100, using the auto ECU and vvti doesn’t work and it likes to stall at lights after some pulls
did it help? need to know for my jzx100
@@FuZZyBoij didn’t end up buying it. I instead bought a Link G4X ecu and got it tuned
@@mikester1472 ahh the better way, easy install?
@@FuZZyBoij yea considering all i did was drop it off at the tuner and tell him to get as much power with a Link G4X
The two wires that weren’t used on the emulator, are they supposed to go to your immobilizer? I know his car doesn’t have that.
Ryan if you're reading this. I need to know where you got the key fob shell. Thank you sir
I am Reading this!!!
I never answered your question... I thought I did. I bought it off ebay a long time ago, but honestly, it's not the best.
I did this a couple years back (It was cool) then months later went emu black and cut the ATEMU's white wire. Question, do I just cut it out and cap the wires or put it all back together? Most of those wires have no end since the swap right?
3 Resisters also. Can I just cut those wires off clean? Thanks
@SERIALNINE What do you recommend for tricking the ECU that the Auto Transmission Shift Solenoids are still there? Tried Resistors before but they get really hot.
It's on a 2000 GS300
Would this work on a manual swap for a na gs300? Or would it have to be the aristo chassis only with the gte engine?
yeah that will be fine
Got mine as soon as they restocked and just now getting to the install. For the wire marked S3 I don’t have an S3 on mine. (I have the same car in the video 1997 Aristo with R154 swap) do I disregard this wire like the OIL and SP2+ wires?
Thanks gents.
S3 = pin SD Aristo Ecu
@@suprasurgut thanks man! I got it figured out!
Awesome video. I noticed though that the reverse light switch stops working if you follow the wiring diagram. Is this normal of does anyone have a workaround?
Did you ever find a solution?
Cool
If I go with L instead of 2, do I just cut 2 like I would RND43?
I neeeed to know what body kit this is! Anyone know?
Wald Lip kit
