I got the itch to look into IDPA, I did it when I was a kid and thought little of it. I wasn’t even old enough to go but seeing as how I’d go with my dad and knew how to be safe they allowed it. I’d shoot a Taurus 92 or 99 can’t remember which. What sticks in my memory is “two to the chest, one to the head”😂 I had a blast until someone got upset that I was actually doing well and complained that I was too young.
Hey Zack. That is cool. I was a late bloomer starting when I was 49. The IDPA for me is a great way to build patience, discipline, and tactical intelligence. I will compete in one at least twice a year now. There are a lot of fragile egos out there but keep doing what you do. Thanks for sharing your story and watching.
Thanks bro. It is stock. I bought it used and it was built with a duty trigger instead of the Atlas 2lbs. It runs great even with the duty trigger. Thanks for watching!!
Good morning!! Yes. I’ve been competing for about three years now. This was only my second IDPA match. I primarily compete in USPSA and steel challenge matches. Thanks for watching.
Good morning!! Thank you!! From what I read, the Artemis and Titan can be used. The Erebus could not because of the compensator. Thanks for watching!! Appreciate it.
@gray_citizen you are absolutely right. I just double checked the IDPA rules under Enhanced Service Pistol Division. The original design has to be built with a compensator or port. Thank you. 💯💯💯💯
@@Gabierama I would agree. In my opinion, the Erebus is not an ideal choice for IDPA for that reason. Maybe a Nighthawk TRS Comp or Staccato XC would be the best options.
Nice shooting! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you sir!! Doing my best to improve on some basic skills. Thanks for watching 💯
Hell yeah! Keep working!
My man!! Will do!! Appreciate you. Thanks for watching!!
Nice
Thank you!! Thanks for watching!!
This looks really fun, I think I'm going to have to find a local match!
@@AN-12345 it absolutely is. Check out www.practicescore.com to find local matches in your area. Thanks for watching.

Nice run. The Athena's on my radar once the Nix is finished later in the fall. Have you done any work to it or is it still stock?
Thanks bro. It is stock. I bought it used and it was built with a duty trigger instead of the Atlas 2lbs. It runs great even with the duty trigger. Thanks for watching!!
Cool! What gun were you using?
Hey Ron. I’m running my Atlas Athena. Thanks for watching!!
what pistol were you using
Hey Ron. I was using my Atlas Athena.
Do you also do uspsa?
Good morning!! Yes. I’ve been competing for about three years now. This was only my second IDPA match. I primarily compete in USPSA and steel challenge matches. Thanks for watching.
Is this Providence, RI?
Hey Jim. This range is located in Audubon, PA. About 25 minutes from Philadelphia, PA.
Nice shooting!
Do you think Atlas Artemis, Titan or Erebus can be use in IDPA

@@teamblacksmithllc I thought comps were good to go in IDPA now?

@@teamblacksmithllc the only problem is I think Erebus is too long but I could be wrong. I seen people using the Staccato XC for IDPA CO.

Thats awesome, im buying this pistol soon, to run in idpa as well.
Awesome!! You won’t be disappointed. Have a great weekend.
@teamblacksmithllc I just bought it, I feel like I sold a kidney, but im super excited at the same time. I went with the sub 2 pound trigger.
Awesome!! I know the feeling LOL. Keep me updated on how it runs for you.
