December 7, 1941. The Attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise raid by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service upon the United States (a neutral country at the time) against the naval base at Pearl Harbor.
If you haven't seen it yet, we've re-uploaded it, we've made a few mistakes with the map of Europe because this was our first animation.

One of the few documentaries that mention the other airfields that were hit like Ewa, Kaneohe, and Bellows. Glad you included those in your video.
More people need to know this channel
The information was great . Thank you for mentioning one of the ships that always is forgotten, the USS Utah . But your voice sounded very robotic , and some words just didn't sound right .

Cool vide. One criticism. There's no such word as "aircrafts", it's "aircraft", whether singular or plural.
There is no "the Hickman Field," among many blunders. This piece could have been pretty good, but it was sloppily written and amateurishly narrated.

Nice documentary. Pronunciations of some words are unfamiliar to me.

The pronunciation of several words is unfamiliar to us because they are pronounced incorrectly. For example, "Hickam Field" is incorrectly pronounced "Hickman Field" in the video. Likewise, I suspect several spelling errors were made in the video, but I will need a large display screen to see the red font letters on the dark blue background.

This guy has literally stolen animations fromboth oversimplified and a different channel I've forgotten the name of that does top down looks at battles but slightly altered the latter.

Correct: the French flag is labeled France.
Incorrect: the Durch flag is labeled Dutch. It should be labeled The Netherlands.
Correct: the American flag is labeled U.S.A.
If a thing or person is from the Netherlands, the descriptive term for the nationality of this person or thing is DUTCH.🇳🇱🇳🇱
The country in Europe is called The Netherlands but the country in the east was actually called The Dutch East Indies so it turns out you were wrong.

With your logic:
• the U.S.A. flag in the video should be labeled American
• the France flag in the video should be labeled French
• the U.K. flag should be labelled British.
Next time you watch the Olympic Games, pay attention to how the flag of the Netherlands is labeled.
Wrong maps at the beginning! 1939 Austria and Czechoslovakia were occupied and no longer sovereign contries and the half of Poland were occupied by Germany (the other half by Russia)
And this is NOT the First animated documentary on Pearl Harbor!
Just the first map and the animation are wrong. It shows Germany and Poland in today's borders, not in the borders of Sep 1st 1939. The region of "Ostpreussen" was also Germany.
wrong ship animations for US BBs, sadly many people blow this part @5:36 don't feel bad though Disney got it wrong too,you're in good (or bad) company
