Key West has quickly become one of our favorite Eastern Caribbean ports. We hope our experiences help you plan your perfect day in this amazing destination. This trip was a 4-night cruise aboard Celebrity Reflection, departing from Fort Lauderdale with stops in Key West, Florida, and Coco Cay, Bahamas. It was our first time cruising with Celebrity Cruises after many trips with Royal Caribbean. We highly recommend adding Key West to your travel itinerary!

Cruise Details
This 4-night cruise from Fort Lauderdale included stops in Key West and Coco Cay aboard Celebrity Reflection, the largest of the Solstice-class ships. Launched in 2012, the ship accommodates 3,046 passengers and underwent a refurbishment in October 2022.

Nice vlog. We’re sailing on the Reflection in November. We’ve been to Key West before, but this time we’re picking up a metal rooster and we’ll try the Seaside Cafe this time, mmmmm lobster roll.

Nicole and I walked around Key West and for us that was the best option. Our friends rented a scooter which allowed them to see a different section of the island. There are golf carts, scooters, and trolleys you can rent or ride on to get around if walking isn’t the right option for you. The get on get off trolley made several stops along Duvall street and the main touristy areas and people seemed to enjoy that.

We just came from a week of camping in Key West. We found out from the Trolley peeps, that many locals have a different price plan for port days??? They raise their prices when there is a ship in port. We were floored.
I guess they justify it with supply and demand; there’s a ton of people that get off of the ships and there’s limited resources available so they feel they can raise their prices. I know the city and state have also limited the number of people that can arrive by cruise ship per day as well.
Nicole , the Hemingway cats have 5 toes , you need one.
Great now we’re going to go back to key west and we’re gonna have a 5-toe cat in Nicole’s luggage on the way home
