It’s a pity that It isnt sold with physical media anymore, some of us live in areas with rather poor internet and downloading the full version can take ages (and cost a fair amount over a satellite connection)
@@JonsRC Haha... $200 for a great SIM package with endless practice with infinite crashes testing our funky stunt's before entering the field vs deep pockets! 🙂
Excellent instructions and review. So, what plane will you be getting for Christmas? I got the new FT Tutor kit sitting under my tree which will be my wife's gift to me. My many times crashed and wrecked FT Simple Cub will supply the electronics. I get a bigger kick out of flying planes I've built then store-bought planes even if there is some assembly involved.
Thanks! We’ve also been wanting to get into Flite Test planes. I already got my Christmas plane. It’s the Hangar 9 P-47 PNP Balsa plane. It’s the first balsa kit where we don’t have to install the electronics. We just have to glue the plane together and install a 6 channel receiver and a 6s LiPo! This should be a fun build and an awesome flyer!
Well done video guy's. I do not see any difference between 9.5 though. Only a couple extra planes and copters plus I have to deal with steam.....just say what it is Horizon.....a steam only sim now, not any kind of upgrade or even update.
Thanks! Yeah, the full copy of 9.5S is really meant for those who don't already have 9.0 or 9.5. If they do, then 9.5S is a free update. We have been thinking about getting the Turbo Timber Evolution so it was nice to "virtually" try it out before we purchased it. I am ok with Steam. I probably have a hundred games in Steam right now. Steam is really the best platform for this because once the game is installed, you never have to worry about manually checking to make sure you have the latest updates or fixes or patches. Steam updates the games in the background and you always get the latest version when you run the game. Plus, I can see and manage all my games in my Steam library so I don't have to go searching for it if I want to un-install it.
More than a couple of extra planes, a new site, and the flexibility of Steam. Now updates can be pushed seamlessly, and new models could be added without requiring a new version. Yes it's Steam only, but it's not hosted on Steam. It's still downloaded to your pc.
@@Mode1RC did I miss something here? I did the upgrade and HATE the fact that I have to run it through Steam. Plus the fact that the orginal disks are worthless now. If I wanted to load it onto another PC I can't as the code is croupt. Upgrade? Wish I never had..............
Hello friends, I have an RF-X dvd and a DRONE dvd, which unfortunately has scratches and is damaged. Can anyone copy and upload one of the DVDs or give me the download link for these two dvd rf-x and dvd drone? Thank you.
Hi. The Draco is included on the 9.5s version. If you already have 9.5, you should be able to swap out your 9.5 license for a Steam code to get 9.5s. Check the product page for 9.5S on Horizon’s website.
thumbs up from me.. very well done
Thank you!
Thanks Jon. I have been having fun with the new F-14 as well as Draco. I've been waiting patiently for the Draco to appear in RF and finally has come.

Interesting and informative once again. Well done Jon.
Thank you!

I love Real Flight 9.5. I use it all the time to keep me sharp in-between flying at the field.
I’ve been using RF for years! I don’t think I would have been able to learn 3D flying on my planes and helis without RF!

VERY NICE MY FRIENDS
Did not know there was an update on this. Hope it’s still available
excellent job young man
Thank you!
I'm guessing you don't have to trim each plane.......?

Been watching you grow up I think it’s time to shave
Im thinking of the wireless dongle for my existing transmitter. Do you guys have any thoughts?
We have used the WS1000 and the WS2000 simulator dongle with our DX-8 transmitter without any issues. It works great!
Hello i have one question can you help me to find the serial number becauze i dont find it
When next version come?

@@JonsRC True. I use steam for some vr racing games. I just wonder if you can still use other planes that people have made and import them in.

@@Mode1RC I get that, however you were able to download different designs that others have created in the past.

It's great If your into planes, but the helis are really limited and outdated.
They should make it compatible for MacOS 🤷🏻♂️👨🏻💻
