    Italeri 1/9 Harley Davidson WLA
The third motorcycle model is a vintage Harley.
The flathead Harley that's readily available is Italeri's WLA.
Nice to see Flat-head released on WLA. The WLA fits nicely with the WWW II from 1939-1945 and the original WL from 1937-1952.
The right half is the oil tank, and the oil line goes down from there to the engine, giving it a mechanical feel and a vintage feel using copper pipes. It can be changed to a battery-less bobber, and it is also attractive as a model.
Speaking of flat-head, I have a strong impression of a bobber style Harley that was sold to the private sector after the war and was customized for racing.
At that time, there was a movie called The Wild One starring Marlon Brando, and although the bike is a Triumph, you can watch it on UA-cam, so if you are interested, please check it out.
And it's the WLA on which the American comic Captain America rides.
This time, I would like to make a WLA-based bobber that was sold to the private sector in Captain America's coloring.
Actually, Magneto's bobber actually exists with this coloring.
I think it's probably based on WL, but when I found it on the internet, my head was spinning.
Since it is a model that can be purchased on Amazon, I edited the production process in a little more detail. I would appreciate it if you could refer to one.
    Engine
WLA original materials are abundant and easy to understand.
Based on abundant materials, details of hoses, wires, bolts, carburetors, etc. have been improved.
The oil line was replaced with a brass pipe with an inner diameter of 0.6mm.
The air filter is really military, so I removed it and made it mesh.
The kick has been changed to a bicycle pedal type, and the mainspring has been changed to a copper plate.
    wheel
Spokes are 0.5mm stainless steel spring wire.
The nipple is a brass pipe with an inner diameter of 0.6mm.
Check that all the spokes are the same length and that there is no distortion of the rim at key points before gluing the spokes.
    Front fork
Springer. Often seen on vintage Harleys and choppers.
Ends with an early panhead. Although it was temporarily revived with a soft tail, production ended without being able to respond to the mandatory ABS and the power-up of the engine.
I omitted the lights and horns and attached the number plate.
    Fender
WLA's rear fender is a split type, so I used only half.
According to the materials at that time, many of the bobbers were shortened WLA front fenders, and it felt like they were just cut off and distorted, so I made it that way.
    Brake and clutch
Added bolts and replaced all shafts with nickel wire, brass wire, etc.
    Painting
In Captain America's coloring, the tank, fender, tool case, and point case are painted red, white, and blue, and the star of the tank is a nail sticker.
    Weathering as usual.
    Display stand
It is a display stand of a vintage Harley.
    Coppi Motorcycle & Garage Company
It is a fictitious shop and maintenance factory.
    Helmet
Vintage helmet made with epoxy putty.
    See you Next Againe!
    Thank you very much.

Life is a pleasure when maybe once every decade you get to see something that just brings amazement and joy for what, you see. You are an artist and artisan of everything that you do, I too know the workings of your mind and your minds eye. Wow, CAPTAIN AMERICA would be just as blown away as I'm sure All who have watched what you create are. You have my gratitude, my respect and most of all my best wishes on all of your future endeavors. Thank you so much. CAMERON.

I own and build vintage Harley Davidsons as one of my hobbies. I am a precision machinist and mechanical designer as well. I came across your channel and must commend you for such skill, taking a model and breathing life into it with such wonderful passion for detail. It’s such a joy just watching you create these beautiful motorcycles and giving them incredible depth and realism taking them to a such a high level. Obviously you are a very talented artist with a knowledge of classic motorcycle history.
I actually came in first place two years in a row building classic drag racing car models and entering them in a modeling competition when I was 14 and 15 years old at my local hobby shop. I received trophies and my picture in the paper. I was told by the hobby shop owner not to enter the next building contest and give someone else a chance! I am now 68 years old and still have my award winning models and trophies displayed in my home office. I am still very proud of them. I would love to see you model my factory original vintage Harley Davidson 1968 XLCH Sportster someday. I think it would be a fascinating build.

My father owned a Harley-Davidson Panhead.
From that time on, I had a strong admiration for Harley.
So, I am very happy and honored to have known you.
For the Harley model, I plan to make a flood head and a knuckle head model.
Both were Harley-like at that time, bobber
I would like to change the type.
      I love American culture.
So I read your story with great interest.
      Thank you for your comment!

Your eye for detail is second to none, you should stop building models and build the real thing, like I said, balancing the whole bike and making it art is special that few people can do. Turning a WLA into a street custom was done by many back in the 50's and 60's, they were cheap and affordable to men with little money, its intersting watching you doing the same thing in miniature. you could have discarded the front fender altogether, it narrow the look from the front, especially if runnig a 21in from rim and tyre, instead of the original.

It can be made with a 0.5mm spring wire and a brass pipe with an inner diameter of 0.6mm.
I thought I wouldn't be able to do it at first, but after failing several times, I was able to do it.
