Motorcycle Diorama Vol.2
It's 1/3 the size of the garage I made the other day, and I added a figure doll to make it feel like a vignette.
Build the Harley davidson
AMF era FXS lowrider shovelhead.
The model year is unknown, but it is a 1340cc model after 1979.
Lowrider is a representative of Harley-davidson.
Imai model Harley made an EVO before, but it felt a lot overscaled, so I thought there wouldn't be a second one, but this kit is very well made, and there is a third one. I changed my mind.
engine relation
The engine looks like an early shovelhead engine.
The carburetor of this era was made in Japan, but the carburetor of the kit looks like a mixture of Linkart and Bendix.
When I looked it up, the cabs in the early days in Japan were of the Bendix type, so I tried to make them in the Bendix style.
I added a lot of details such as the engine.
It's my fourth Harley, so I've gotten used to it without worrying too much about it.
1/12 figure doll making
Maschinen Krieger's figure doll, Miracle Girl 12 garage kit.
It's been a while since I made prototype kits for Mr. Takeya, Mr. Nirasawa, Mr. Oniki, and Mr. Kito from Fewture Models when I was a student.
I bought a 10-20x stereoscopic microscope so that I can paint in more detail.
Please look forward to the next work!
making small items
•Small lifter
I used the British MCL500 lifter as a reference.
•floor
concrete.
It's an old floor with mortar poured over bricks.
• Oil mug
It is an old TEXACO oil jug.
I made it with a marker pen cap and putty, an aluminum plate, and a brass pipe.
Complete image
It is an image of a female rider changing clothes to ride a Harley after maintenance, or a female mechanic changing clothes for Harley maintenance.
Since it's a vignette that cuts out a part of the diorama, I tried putting in about 3 types of things that symbolize the place.
tips
It is difficult to accurately cut plastic plates and plastic rods, drill holes, and glue them vertically and horizontally, so it is necessary to strike a balance somewhere.
Cut the cut end to a length of about 1 mm and file it.
If the thickness is about 2mm, it will be difficult to drill vertically, so please use a desktop mini drilling machine.
I used a 0.2mm, 2/3 needle, 0.06MPa airbrush for figure doll painting.
Thank you all of you!! - Навчання та стиль
Once again, your modeling skills bring this Harley Davidson to life. The motorcycle lift build was incredible and brought this project into a different dimension and level. And the girl model figure finished off the whole scene bringing everything together. Just a wonderful piece of storytelling and artwork.
Thank you so much for sharing this build with us!
Thank you for your comment.
And thank you very much for watching until the end.
It gave me the motivation to continue making higher quality models in the future.
thank you!
Your dioramas are beautiful, thank you for sharing your work.
You're welcome!
Thank you for watching the video!
Professional 👍
Thank you😊😊😊❣️
bravo elle et magnifique super travail
Merci pour votre commentaire!
Je ferai de mon mieux pour que la prochaine œuvre puisse aussi vous divertir !
Beautiful build 🙂 👍 😊
Always thank you so much😊😊😊😊
@@scalemodeler 😊
very nice build from you`r hands sir. Nice with a figure in the diorama. Good looking jack stand. Keep up the good work. From Norway
Thank you for your comment!
We will do our best to keep you entertained!
awesome !
Thank you so much!!
Another nice job, my friend. I would just did one thing differently: the helmet. No, no, red, white and blue. No: white and red, like the Japanese flag. Cheers!
Lately, I've fallen in love with ugly vintage helmets.
I made this after seeing a female rider using a helmet like this on Instagram.
It certainly looks like the Japanese flag!
I think I should have painted the stars in the blue part.
Thank you for your comment!
I am very happy!
cool color - glitter green 😀
I was worried about whether to make it blue, but I'm glad I chose green.
thank you!
@@scalemodeler You also did a great job with the blue/red/yellow colors of the exhaust manifolds. In the past, in the valley of my youth, we let the engine run at high revs on the stand, so that the exhaust manifolds turned quickly blue. Because blue exhaust manifolds looked "fast" ;-)
@@BLECHHAUS That's amazing!
In Japan, the exhaust muffler is often burned with a burner to give it a brown color.
But I think the color of the exhaust muffler with the heat of the engine is the best!
Thank you for your comment!
Impressionnant ! Vous avez atteind la perfection 😊❤🇯🇵👍🙏
merci.
Je te suis très reconnaissant!😊😊😊😊
a lot of work in the jack
I made it last time, but it was easier to make than the lift table.
I wanted to make it so that it can be disassembled if there is time.
Thank you for your comment.
Molto Bene!
Grazie!
👍👍🥰🥰
Thank you☺☺☺
again you out did yourself. i like the figurine. did you make her?
When I was a student, I often made figure dolls.
It's been a long time since I made a figure, so I made it while thinking about it.
In the future, I would like to do more collaborations between motorcycles and figures.
thank you!
Super build once again ! How do you feel about the IMAI 1:9 scale motorcycle kits ? They are cheaper than the 1:12 scale kits, are they worth it ? I just love those Harley's !
Imai's 1/9 Harley is a scaled-up version of the 1/12 Harley. So it's the same precision as 1/12.
However, since 1/9 is large, it is easy to add details and it looks good.
It's nice to be able to display it side by side with Italeri's WLA.
Thank you so much!!
i found some of these kits on e-bay , very expensive
Perhaps the shipping fee from Japan to your country is expensive.
@@scalemodeler must be. where did you get the figurine
The only way I can make it better than you is to use Antman's PIM particle and shrink down a real motorcycle and call it a miniature. 😂😂😂
If I scale down to 1/12 and have a carving knife and a brush, I think I can make a real one!
Thank you😊😊😊
i,ve been looking at the motorcycles that you have built. i see no honda steeds in 1/12
The 1969 Honda CB750 comes out in August, so I plan to build it.
If you have time, please come here again!
thank you!
@@scalemodeler i will be back
@@scalemodeler saw a picture of one , not a bad looking bike
@@leroymitch3153 I think it's a motorcycle that looks good on a cafe racer.
@@scalemodeler waiting to see
i know you just finished this one when will the new one be ready
I'm building a Kawasaki Mach III right now.
It has been converted to a cafe racer type.
I would like to put a figure doll on it if possible.
@@scalemodeler i'll be watching for it
ok where did you get her from
Purchased from Amazon Japan.
The price was around $50.
do you ever sell any of your models?
Yes there have been several times.
I have sold it when I ran out of space to display it.
I have put it up for auction.
@@scalemodeler if you weren't so far away i would buy some
@@leroymitch3153 I look forward to working with you at that time. !
thank you!
@@scalemodeler ok thanks
i would like imai 1/12 harley-davidson

I get figure doll at Amazon Japan.
Thank you😊
do you own a real motorcycle?
I'm riding a Honda Super Cub 125cc.
My dad rode a Harley Shovel.
