When I was a Baptist, my devout Catholic friend literally dragged me to her church one night to see one of the children of Medjugorje have a public apparition of The Blessed Mother. This was in the late 90’s at the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine in Orlando. The guest there was Vicka. Anyway, I’m sitting there not really knowing what’s going on when Vicka starts looking up and appears to be having a conversation with something above her. She actually dropped to her knees full force onto a marble floor and never flinched ! It lasted about 10 minutes. Then afterwards we all got to form a line and shake her hand. She had the holiest presence about her ! And such a sense of peace. Something happened to me that night…let’s just say I think I was given some type of grace and infused knowledge because after that I completely understood Catholicism. It didn’t happen immediately , but when I was learning it just all fell into place like a jigsaw puzzle. No easy feat when one is raised Baptist. After that I also had many “signal graces”. Pretty amazing to this day when I think about it ❤
Beware the manifestation of Satan as a being of light in his deception. Always believe in what the bible says - that only Jesus is the light and the way, and that no one goes to the Father but throug him. The bible never tell us to worship Mary or that she is a divinity. But it does warn us of the devil's deception.

Yes, we will. Medjugorje is keeping the Church alive and bringing in vocations. The clergy in Austria, for instance, are in large part because of Medjugorje.

When I first heard 20 years ago, that Mother Mary was “appearing to several individuals” for 20 years I immediately felt that something wasn’t right. No other apparition has Mother Mary appeared for years and years. The messages are questionable, as well as the “seerers” changing their stories, getting super rich, expensive houses, no one becoming a nun, etc., Nah. I still feel nothing there comes directly from God.
I went to Medjugorge in 1989 for 10 days. Saw no extradorinary things like the sun dancing etc. But I had a powerful interior spiritual experience on my last day there, during a blessing by Fr Philip Pavich, (now deceased, may his soul RIP). At this blessing I fully got to realise that Mary is my mother. I acknowledged it before, but never fully felt it so powerfully.

I never had a problem with Medjugorje. I have a friend who went and was skeptical until she had a real awakening. Her rosary turned gold and she saw the sun dance in the sky. She became a true believer and her whole family of 8 children visited and most are working in the church in organizations that bring people to the church and one is working with a priest who is well known by being an assistant. That friend started a rosary after daily Mass and it has had up to 30 people. She is now 86 and has dementia and is in assisted living. Please prayer for her as she was a true advocate for the Blessed Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

I cannot believe our blessed mother would allow miracles after such a long time, for a so called apparition no yet approved by the church. Fatima, Lourdes etc were not lengthy and going on for year's. Also all seers from approved apparitions remained humble, mostly entering religious life, certainly not gaining wealth, how could you think Mary would approve of this ?
I was about 10 years old when my grandparents went to Medjugorje in 1988. They were having problems in their marriage and went with a marriage encounter group to Medj. My grandmother has always been devoted and faithful to Our Lady but my grandfather not so much. He told me he was sitting outside the church during the apparition which was taking place in the Church upstairs. He knew when the apparition started bc he saw a flash of light in the room and he felt an electric shock go through his heart. He was also having heart issues at that time in his life. When the apparition ended he saw another flash of light and a pressure in his chest. He was afraid he was having a heart attack but he realised he had been completely healed. When he come home which was in Florida he had it confirmed that he was ok. My grandmother gave me a rosary and rosary pouch and a small rock from the mountain. Even though I didn't go having those items made such a difference in my life. At 11 I was very devoted and loved Our Lady. I've been there several times and going again this year.
I went to Medjugorje in 2002, a few months after my husband had a liver transplant which I felt guilty leaving him, but I kept getting peace for me to go. I just needed to trust and Our Lady proved it to me to trust. While there, my mother at home got very sick, and she herself told me not to worry because Our Lady was taking care of it.....Mother Mary did. I also had a gall bladder attack and received the anointing of the sick from Fr. John Chisolm (may he rest in peace) and the day after, it was like I never had any pain. My experience was phenomenal. I thank God for allowing me to go there. It was so beautiful to see everyone with Rosaries in their hands. Just a beautiful time praying for everyone......Thank you for this video. It clarifies a lot but I personally received the graces to believe. I wish I could go again.....God is in control!

I went to Medjugorge in 2018, and have no doubt that it is an exceptional holy site of apparitions. We are so blessed that it has gone on for so long, I believe it is a great act of mercy from God and Blessed Mother is bringing people back to the faith.

I am a Traditional Catholic, I reject modernism “the interpretation”of Vatican II. I have decrement about Medjugorje. Emotionalism is a big part of it! Too many people looking for signs, and wonders! I think this well intended person is bias, because it’s her homeland! Too many questions. I pray God’s forgiveness for being a skeptic. 🙏✝️❤️ Jesus said: to not look for signs and wonders! Do not test the Lord! They may not be lying, but they can be deceived! 🤷🏻♂️
My Mum and Grandmother went to Medjugorje around two years after the apparitions first began. I was a teenager at the time and distinctly remember the changes in my Mother when she returned. The peace and serenity she exuded was palpable.
Both my Mum and Grandmother had experienced a number of unexplained visions during their visit; spinning sun, huge cross in the sky and lots of beautiful colours etc.
On her return home, my Mum continued to see the spinning sun. One morning during sunrise she called my two sisters and I into the back bedroom. As the sun was rising we were able to look at it directly and saw a disc in front of the sun spinning extremely fast and also going backwards and forwards. Mum told us this was what she and many of the other pilgrims saw whilst they were in Medjugorje.
Interesting fact, since that day I have continued to see the spinning sun on numerous occasions. I have noticed recently that this now frequently occurs when I drive home in the evening after Adoration 🙏.
God willing, my wife and I are hoping to pay our first visit to Medjugorje next year 🙏
I was in Medjugorji in October of this year and stayed with Ivan. He is a lovely man and that is exactly what he is a human. All of the same troubles everyone encounters and his home is more like a retreat house. I wish I could have stayed there forever. But even he stays in America quite a bit of the time. Don't be afraid to go there but they do say you need to be asked to go by the Blessed Mother herself. I believe that to be true. The 1st time I went I went for the 40th anniversary. I my husband only came because he was worried about me traveling alone. After the 1st meeting with Fr Leon my husband who I had asked to pray the rosary with me for years to no avail started to call me to prayer every night to pray the rosary. That was my miracle. I am so blessed because of my visits to this very blessed community. I have met lifelong friends and they are closer to me than my biological family. Thank you Jesus for allowing Mother to come to us. I have so many documented miracles on my camera. I wish I could share them with you. Plus I met a famous person the 1st time I went and we met on the plane and I didn't even know who he was. He said to me I hope we see each other in Medjugorji and during the 40th anniversary Masses we tried to find a seat under the sycamore trees and there were people everywhere. I walk under one of the trees and there were a half million people there I see several people looking for a seat and they kept walking right past this spot with 2 seats open. I asked the two men if the seats were taken and they said no. Wouldn't you know the one who had said he wished we could meet again was sitting right there. I don't believe in coincidences.

Meh. I’m still extremely skeptical of these “apparitions”. When in history has the Blessed Virgin appeared to one person as many times as she’s supposedly appeared to this lady? I can’t see it being real.
In the video, Ann mentioned other apparitions that have happened as long or longer. This was addressed.

The main question that one should ask is. Is it important for our salvation or are we chasing for visions .if we are in end times as we all think so by now based on many events going on the church , We were told many false Christ's meaning even within the church. searching for visions or messages from heaven is not the goal of a catholic , Our main goal is please God and bring more people to him through our witness
If Mary is indeed coming to earth, then it is God who wants people to know about it, because she better than anyone else, brings people back to Church and the important practices of our faith.

And we were warned that even those in good standing with the Church will be deceived . I do enjoy your content in general when it comes to evangelizing but let's not cling to unproven apparitions . So we are to be very careful and discern like our Holy Mother who was very silent in the Bible
@@mjanja717 Agree, buuuuuttt like Ann pointed out Fatima would never have been authenticated if people didn't go there. The Pope was very anti-Medjugorje years ago, but then he's giving his blessing on the recent Youth Gathering there. St. JP II advocated it, there are hints the Church is in favor of it. Pilgrimages would not be allowed if there was overwhelming diabolical rotten fruit coming from there.

@@mjanja717 It is very easy to discern if the message is sent by Jesus or God The Father through Mother Mary or any other Saint apparition. Medjugorje messages are definitely of Divine and Heavenly origin; you are resisting God in the messages being sent to us. If the message promotes salvation, then don't reject it; as simple as that! Jesus died on the Cross to open the Gates of Heaven that Adam and Eve closed for us, but we have to choose, by our free will, the path leading to God The Father, choosing Jesus and ALSO we MUST choose to keep God, the Father's Ten Commandments; this is a MUST!

I could not go to Medjugorje because I did not have money to go. Medjugorje came to me. I prayed as Mary requested in Medjugorje and God responded with a series of miracles that help me understand that God is not only real, He LOVES me. And Mary loves me.

I was converted back to the faith just before the age of 40 after abandoning it my late teens. I can tell you from experience that just the messages alone (no visitation to the place) from Our Lady were instrumental in converting my heart back to God. I was flooded with God's grace - I turned a life of debauchery and alcoholism into prayer and fasting. Our Lady makes it quite clear on numerous occasions to renounce things of this world that have little or no spiritual value - I came to understand that our addictions/love of this world inhibit our ability to surrender to God through prayer and sacrifice.
It seems like those who don't believe in these apparitions - possibly already had a strong faith and find no value in these apparitions, but for great sinners like myself, these messages were another way of opening my heart to God and back to his Church.

well i will answer one more time, church wont approve any apparition world wide when appariotions still take place, church can decide only when apparitions stop and nobody knows if or when apparitions will stop. You are missing a big grace from God because who knows when will apparitions will stop. Churc approved that piligrams can visit Medjugorje. I advice evrybody to come, doesent matter if you belive in apparitions or not. In Medjugorje heaven is opened for everbody who comes and thats why people convert and find God.
The private revelations you mentioned were only investigated by the official church because there was a public/lay following. If everyone did as you suggest no one would have heard of Lourdes, Fatima, etc.

I still don't understand a few things:
I used to subscribe to the daily messages, which were pretty much redundant. In one, she said that any other apparitions were false and she was only appearing in Medjugorje. However, the events in Betania were taking place and ARE approved by the Church. I asked someone about this, and they remembered that message as well and told me no one talked about that any more.
Second, in those messages she said that all religions were loved by her Son. Really? That's not Catholic teaching at all. We still use the term "heresy".
Third, why did Vicka pick that moment to go to a random photographer and explain something that he didn't witness and probably didn't even know about? You would think she would have lunged forward and put out her arms during one of the visions, but I never heard of this happening. (Perhaps I just never heard of something that others witnessed.)
These are sincere questions, and I would appreciate knowledgeable answers rather than pious excuses.
As soon as I heard her say "the Blessed Mother" was going to drop the Divine Child I laughed out loud and knew this is either liars or actually demonic, the Holy Mother could never come close to dropping the Baby Jesus😂
😂😅 for me what shocked me alot is that she went to the room to even explain! And if someone is dropping a baby you will lift your hands up to catch but, no you only react with eyes. Anyway another thing is that i believe when our lady gives a message gives time for people to ponder in there hearts! Even in every apparitions she always says let us respect the church always but well everyday and i heard one even charges people to enter into a room to see him speak to mama mary? How i thought anything from heaven is free? Aah i try to believe but still my heart refuses! 😢

I think it is a fraud! I have faith in Our Lady and believe that good can come out of these fake apparitions. The fact that people turn to prayer is a very good thing but we must search for the Truth until the day we die.

I’ve went to Medjujorje on pilgrimage in 2018 with little faith in god, I spent a week there and it changed my life completely.. I’ve since been there twice and will continue visiting, it’s such a wonderful place of prayer 🙏

I am a very late convert (formally 4 years ago when I was 60). Binge watching conversion stories, I watched every minute of Fr. Rick Wendell's presentation. As fate would have it, I then immediately viewed the story of Christine Watkins, a conversion story that probably anyone reading this will know first hand. I find both, Fr. Rick and Christine, eminently believable. Fr. Rick's mystical experience and more happened in Medjugorje. It is how I first learned of Medjugorje. Let us all spread the word.

There are days when I am SO overwhelmed by the trials it feels like I’m going to lose my mind, but Our Lady always seems to remind me and I snap out of it. We are in a battle but the good news is we know how it ends! Her message from July 25,2019 comes to mind often. “Little children, trials will come and you will not be strong, and sin will reign but, if you are mine, you will win, because your refuge will be the Heart of my Son Jesus.” I will carry those words for the rest of my life. I do not believe that questioning the validity of Medjugorge is offensive to our Blessed Mother. Rather, I would like to believe that our Mother would welcome this approach. We are advised to be prudent and to discern - this for me is very important. I am of the opinion that until an Apparition is approved by the Church, regardless of its appearance and its presentation, for one to be discernible in one's approach until approval is given by the Church. It is nice that people go there and that there is nothing wrong about going. If it brings one closer to God, well then it is good.
Church has a law, while apparitions are still happening, it cant be approved...lots people dont know this but it is logical law. Apparitions are happening 42 years and nobody knows how long more. Church has approved that people can visit Medjugorje, so you are welcomed if you decide to come one day.
Can you imagine if all the people who were present for the Fatima apparitions and miracle of the sun waited for the church to approve? They would have missed out on all of that. Approval didn’t happen until 1930. But yes, Jesus taught us to judge by the fruits!

So the millions upon millions of pilgrims that have been to Medjugorje, since 1981, are not wise? They have 5 Masses daily, at St James Catholic church ⛪️ there in Medjugorje. 15 to 20 confessional booths, with long lines of pilgrims waiting to reconcile, at each one. Countless pilgrims turned religious, priests/nuns, after a visit there. Atheists to Catholics, multitudes, by visiting there..

Unlike Fatima, Garabandal, Guadalupe and others where our Lady's messages were clear and concise, we don't have anything really from these visionaries besides calling for conversions for forty some years.
Daily Prayer-especially the Rosary, fasting on bread and water on Wednesdays and Fridays, Bible reading, Confession once a month, receiving the Eucharist frequently. The threat of war... If people had listened to these specifics instead of doubting she's asking for this in Medjugorje, the world would be a better place.
Also we have the secrets, which have not yet been revealed and are allegedly to do with the period of tribulation so in one way more unique yet just as important as other apparitions. I believe in Medjugorje, and I am convinced the devil will try hard to attack it if it is real. Its Hard to believe the devil would encourage eucharistic adoration, confession, praying the rosary and the huge amounts of conversions and vocations for the church that it has brought about. That being said, there is no necessity to believe any private revelation and if the church has not declared on it authenticity yet then don't believe it but remain open to it. Its very questionable that the church would not have decided yet against a fake apparition for decades and decades with so much evidence, its more likely it is true but they will declare it when it becomes more obvious as to not cause divide within. Someone in my church was there this week. They were just taking pictures of the sky on their phone and one came out with a figure above the sun that looks like Our Lady. There is no doubt in my mind.
Please address the books, “The Poem of the Man God” which the church placed on a list of banned books Catholics should not read until quite recently, yet Mary at Medjugorje said it’s okay to read. The books were not removed from the list but the list of banned books was done away with, yet the church still discouraged reading them.
This is exactly opposite of how Mary speaks in other apparitions where she tells people to obey the bishops and priests.
She didn’t mention the big issues. She focused mostly on the video where the seer recoil. Are there more apparitions in which the seers are the ones that charge more for private visits?
What about in 1938 when the Lady said “"You are not a believer if you do not respect the other religions, Muslim and Serbian. You are not Christians if you do not respect them." We are the one true church founded by Christ. We respect people but we do not see other religions as the same.
What about the even worse when the Lady told them the prayer “

It is not unfair to compare the seers to other seers and see how they put greed ahead of faith. It is not unfair at all. She really work hard to protect the seers. The Mercedes not really cheap. I don’t disagree that some of the vision did happen. I don’t disagree that many folks have converted. It is a place where people get together and pray and sing and worship the Lord. This is one of the best Medugorje videos I have watched for a long time . I have just returned from Medugorje once again and each time I go I’m astonished at the changes that Medugorje has gone through from my first visit there in 1987 until now. Indeed during this last visit I began to wonder about the wealth there - seeing so many huge houses and new buildings go up. When I talked to one of the inhabitants , a local bus driver whose parents were among those who welcomed the first pilgrims in their houses. This man told me not only that all the inhabitants of Medugorje were true believers, but that they live simply, that the visionaries live modest simple lives and the houses are to bring more people to God. I really enjoyed listening to Ann here., she is very gifted and a great speaker, very down to earth and she tells it how it should be told. Thank you 🙏
1. You can not state that this is Our Mother in Medjugorje. Only The Church can declare it so. You have no authority to declare it as authentic.
2. You cannot say "Our Lady of Medjugorje ", as this is an unapproved apparition and therefore no title exists for Our Lady there.
3. We are not bound to even believe approved appritions - much less unapproved appritions. To say that we might be speaking against who is potentially Mary is very manipulative. I will follow what The Church declares. I believe that Mary would want us to follow The Church which Her Son founded - not our feelings and our thoughts .
4. One of the real serious consequences of this "apprition " is a pride that says that I am the one who determines whether this is true based on my feelings and thoughts - which totally disregards the authority of The Church.

If you watched the video, you will be aware that I reported only what the Church has said, which is that a final determination about Medjugorje’s authenticity has not yet been made, but in the meantime people are allowed to go. The apparitions in Medjugorje saved my life. In my Diocese, the Bishops keep discouraging everyone from "private revelations" and many Priests are anti-Medjugorje.

I've been to Medjugorje twice once in 2012 then in 2013 and I've never disbelieved in the apparitions that take place there. When I was there I felt the presence of Christ much like being at adoration, but covering the entire town. When the bus left Medjugorje I felt that feeling dissipate upon leaving Medjugorje.
In the words of Father Ripperger we should never go on our feelings, since the devil has the power to influence our feelings. as well. That said, I am not saying that Medjugorje is not authentic at all.

It was in I992 when I first learned about Medjugorje through a newsletter written by Wayne Wieble. Since then I’ve always wanted to go there but it never happens, even after hearing that it was not approved yet still my heart burns to visit the place. After 3 decades finally I was able to save to make the trip but due to Covid no traveling was available I decide to visit my country instead. There are places of pilgrimages which are cheaper yet Medjugorje seems to be the only place that I would have liked to see first then the rest can fallow if I have the means to do so. Some people would tell me it is not approved . That never bothered me. And everything this lady has said is very true especially where it concerns in the defense of the visionaries. And even if negative comments are going on in my heart I am 101 percent convicted of its authenticity , and my heart goes to the visionaries. They make up with what most people cannot do which is to suffer for love. Thank you for the interview. To me it is ridiculous for people to expect a perfect visionary. In their love for Jesus and Mary they are already perfect. I am still hopeful that someday I could go to meet them. I prayed it before I die. I am now 77.

The fruits if Medjugorje are amazing. Spiritual conversions, healings, vocations and hearts changed. Everything Our Lady asks for are not contrary to what she’s asked for at any of her apparitions. Any site of apparitions or even the Holy Land, sells religious articles and provides places to stay.
Hello Christine, what a great interview. Anne was absolutely wonderful and this lady knows what she is talking about. She expresses herself very well and it was a pleasure listening to her. On UA-cam, there are several testimonies of people who are in Medjugorje and indeed, they are all transformed by this visit. Most of the interviewees went several times. I would really like to go there one of these days because of all the positive and beautiful things that I hear.
Did Jesus not say we would not see him again until he comes in glory? Also, i do not question appearances are happening. However, were were warned that "satan comes as an angel of light to decieve many" . I think its very important to test all things against scripture.

I went to Medjugorije around 2010, did have an experience of the very strong scent of roses and upon looking up at the sky, there was a huge circle over me that looked as if the circle was made of clouds. The scent and the circle made of clouds and rose scent took place as I was walking back from Church at night.
My Mother went to Medjugorje two or three times (from Canada). She had no doubt that it was a blessed experience.

The point of that "experiment" was to see if the visionaries are like the saints who, when having visions, could not feel any earthly pain etc.
He was trying to detect. They had the same trouble with the 6th century nun who fooled eveyone until the priest jagged her with a stick dipped in HOLY WATER and she squeeled. Her cover was blown.
If course it's fake. It violates rule number one about apparitions: key messages contradict church teaching. The seers and priest were also not obedient. They were told not to build a church but did so anyway. There is the lack of true ecstasy and the baloney story told to try and cover it up. And then there are the first-hand stories related to me by priests who have visited there who report the rudeness and the lack of charity demonstrated by the seers themselves. Then of course there is the fact that the seers have been profiting from the tourism their non-stop visions have inspired. I was done at step one. How much evidence do people need before they understand that fruits and feelings do not determine the legitimacy of an apparition? The devil is ninety percent truth and ten percent lies. We wouldn't follow him over the cliff Into the abyss if he weren't.
Jesus Contradicted the Pharsees teachings in his day when they were falling astray. And The Blessed Mother doesn't Contradict any objective Christian/Catholic teaching, it's an expansion on how to Live the Gospel in our day. It's a great grace
Case in point, the objective of this interview was to correct misinformation. The church in Medjugorje was built long before the apparitions ever began. No new church has been built there since the apparitions began. And no message which the visionaries ever released says anything about Our Lady instructing them to NOT build a church. Well....one of my issues with M. is that, allegedly, Mary said to the visionaries that "she is NOT mediatrix of ALL graces." Now we have a New Age here. If this is true she said that over there than this is directly contradictory to Amsterdam - Lady of All Nations. That "all graces " is an important catholic teaching. ...but Amsterdam (and Akita) may be a problem too. Regarding Mary and the Holy Spirit: it is teaching of Maxmilian Mary Kolbe, a saint and founder of Militia Immaculate, that the Holy Spirit is "not created Immaculate Conception" whereas Mary is "created Immaculate Conception." This theology makes visible the most profound connection between Mary and the Holy Spirit.

This interview did very little to quell my doubts about these alleged apparitions; and if anything only bolstered them. I've seen less 'talk-arounds' by protestants over James 2:22 than I heard hear about the 'dropping baby Jesus' incident. On top of that I didn't hear anything about or the excuses for the theological errors that arise from the messages. As private revelations go that we don't have to believe in anyway; I am certianly staying well away from this one. When was the last time you had to create or watch video afte video, interview after interview about Loudes, Fatima, Zeitun, Akita, Kheibo, to explain away all the problems and warning signs???? Believe at your own risk is written all over this one.
Remember that if something is true and good and salvific and holy, it is going to be viciously attacked. The devil doesn't leave authentic apparitions alone and they will be criticized to death so that the devil convinces people not to believe in what Mary is doing to help the world--espeically in our times. There are no theological errors that arise from these messages. The Church would have condemned the messages long ago. If you are referring to the message below, it has been misquoted over and over:

My Mother and I booked at trip when the war was just starting and we're still going to go. However, our Tour company out of California stole our money and we never got to go. We lived in Massachusetts and it made it impossible to obtain a refund unless we had the time to hunt him down. What a disappointment!
I will always respect what other people choose to believe, not that I approve of it, but I respect their human free will. I consider myself a traditional catholic. I have been to Medugorje myself and this is what I think about it; a lot is happening there, there is a certain atrraction to it. Many people change their lives. Many pray the rosary which is a good thing. The apparitions are real, but I don't know what or who is really appearing there. It seems to me like these apparitions confirm the new direction that the Church has taken since the death of Pope Pius XII, and to me that is the problem. The new Church is a totally different church, than the Church which was in place before October 1958. With a new priesthood, new sacraments, new Liturgy, a new theology, with a new direction. That is what scares me. Because if the old tradition and dogma's of the Church are being left for new ways, you know that something is up/wrong. That is also the reason why these apparitions keep going on for so many years, something that has never, ever occurred in the traditional history of Our Lady's visits. They keep going on, because it is more than a message, it is a permanent guidance, like the one you would receive with a guru. Never has that occurred in Church history. I have never heard of Our Lady asking to pray for freedom. I have never heard Our Lady saying that the essence of religion is love. And here is meant religion in general. These are messages that are hard to understand when you're aware that the catholic church is the one, and only true Church in the world, outside of which nobody is saved. That is Church dogma. We have to believe that.
I couldn’t agree more. I do not believe these visions are from Mother Mary precisely bc the fruit it bears is largely born into the Novos Order. Which, like you, I believe is not the True Magisterium of the Church.

@@joni3503 yes. Just like you mentioned in your messages, of the differences between the “old” and the “new” Mass. MUCH was changed, and I believe the way things were done, taught, and believed in, was/is the True Magisterium (the way God intended His Church and teachings to be) of the Catholic Church.
That being said, I do not believe the Novus Ordo Mass is invalid…. Just that it/those changes greatly wounded the Church. For example, since the changes, some 80% of Catholics do not believe in the Real Presence of the Eucharist. I believe this was due to the changes in the Liturgy of how we receive Him now as opposed to the reverent receiving of Him prior to the changes.

I believe that the intention of a lot of people in the novus ordo is good, that is, they want to receive valid sacraments, valid absolution, and in the Mass the body and blood of Christ. However, I must say, these changes in the liturgy were deliberately implemented by people that do not share our faith. Their objective was to destroy the Mass, and to block us from receiving supernatural grace. The devil was behind it. And I know Jesus Christ has promised that the Church would not be overcome by the gates of Hell. But the church is the faithful loyal to a true, valid Pope. That alone is the church.
This was really helpful for me, because I'm about the same age as several of the visionaries and so I've known about it for years. I totally believed it for years, however, in recent years I have been concerned about it going on for so long. So this was helpful for me. I also had another concern, which you did not address and perhaps you can reply to me: that one of the priests who was with them from the beginning was disobedient and eventually left the priesthood, and that one of the visionaries joined his splinter group (for a while). I don't recall the details now since I read about it a number of years ago, but it greatly disturbed me. I was also very surprised that none of the visionaries entered religious life. The world is different, yes, but they're seeing the Blessed Mother every day! Wouldn't several of them feel called to religious life? I know one of the boys tried to become a priest but couldn't handle the studies, as I recall.
It also seemed odd to me, and a little unbelievable, a report that I read about the visionaries as they got older, that one of the visionaries who was still receiving visits (the pretty, tall one, I think) was vacationing with her young children at the beach and waded into the water at the time of the apparition to visit with the Blessed Mother. I'm pretty sure that if I had a date with the Blessed Mother, I'd make sure I was not at the beach at that time! I couldn't imagine Lucia or Bernadette being so casual about a vision. Maybe it was not a true event?
So, while I acknowledge the incredible fruits of pilgrims to Medugorje, I guess I am a little put off by the priest abandoning his priesthood and no religious vocations among any of the visionaries. Maybe you could shed some light on this. Thank you!!
Visionaries are the modern visionaries, the priest hood is multiplying due to the visionaries. our God is so kind and yet we don’t understand his mission. These visionaries unlike Lourdes and Fatima are flipped, they are chosen to be examples for families to Fast/ confess/ and pray/ and live the life of a good catholic. This is God’s plan.
The problem is, I don’t see them being good examples of Catholic parents when it is so casual (and disobedient), and we are in a crisis with a shortage of priests. So this doesn’t make sense and isn’t helpful. I want to believe, I just can’t get over several things videos like these avoid addressing.
I have a personal experience of Medjugorge . I attended a mass with the Visioners in 1992 and implored God that I would give up cigarettes. A week later it happened: I was given the grace to give up the cigs. Some higher power worked there. Mary is real. She is a strong and formidable woman. I kinda believe it. What confuses me is the fact that the Visionaries are convinced Mother Mary appears to them EVERY day. That sounds outlandish and is hard to believe. That's the only thing I am not so sure about . However sometimes we have to take a leap of faith, and as they say " Doubt no more but believe. " After all fact is often stranger than fiction. Well I successfully gave up cigarettes anyway so something about it worked. God bless you .

I went in 2006 and witnessed some of the more superficial things such as spinning sun, Cross disappearing, and my old mum having no pain the day after ascending Cross Mountain.

I consecrate myself every day to my Mother and her Immaculate Heart. But, I have a great deal of trepidation when approaching this. It has not been approved by the Holy Mother Church, to whom I am obedient. The test say there is a supernatural origin but what type. Is it our Mother? Have the messages ALL been deemed to be in full concert with church teaching. Who were the scientists who tested and what is their background and what point of view are they coming from (anyone living in America or the West today would be wise to be leery here, and with good reason.) It's true, I have not been there, but I haven't been to Fatima, Lordes, Guadalupe, Akita etc. and I am moved to tears constantly by these apparitions, never by Medjugorje. I doubt you will even read this to respond, though I would love it because I do have faith in Queen of Peace Media. God Bless.

I've been to Medgugorje and saw for myself that it is real! I saw a miracle in the sun, the church is packed,many vocations and priests there, confessions, and has been approved by the Vatican as a place worthy of going there on a pilgrimage!
So what’s the real point of the pieces of paper? It proves nothing.
Those who doubt and have facts disputing authenticity could make their own charts and they would have a much longer listing of their own points of analysis disputing the authenticity of the visionaries. I have seen some lengthy explanations of why the visions may not be true, particularly beyond the initial few days. I am doubtful personally, but not 100% sure. The interviewee certainly has an interest in maintaining the tours to Mejugorie since it appears to be her livelihood. To say the “flinching” video is all that the other side is able to present is blatantly false. I will focus my attention to Church approved apparitions and prophesies.
The point was that there has not been one single scientific investigation which has concluded that they are lying or faking it. Of course, people who do not support Medjugorje will likely have long lists of reasons why they oppose it, and they are certainly entitled to their opinions. But they cannot produce ONE SINGLE investigation, by any scientific or medical team, which supports their claims that Medjugorje is a fake.
I decide not to research Medjugorie and stop watching this. There are already many more devotions, older and tested by time, to Mother Mary that are worth doing. Bye
Well, I've consecrated myself to Our Lady, and that is a falsehood to suggest that if an individual does not believe in the authenticity of Medjagoria is being offensive to the Blessed Mother. And, to validate this, according to Church apparitions of Mary are considered private revelation and is not doctrinal within our Faith.
We said it is offensive to Our Lady to speak against Medjugorje, claiming authority and knowledge above what the Church has stated about it. One does not have to personally believe in any private revelation, even the Rosary, the Chaplet, etc., which come from private revelation.

People should go to church to visit with Jesus in his home, it’s between me an him when I’m there, so when I go to Medjugorje, I would be going to talk to the Blessed Mother, an I believe she would be there for me, no matter what.
For those who think the apparitions were faked to get rich: it is very important to understand the context in which the apparitions began. I think it's hard for Americans to truly understand this because they don't have the experience of living under a communist regime. Even the mere expression of faith was problematic for one's career, especially in that part of the former Yugoslavia where Medjugorje is. Over 600 Catholic priests were killed by the communist regime, the secret police harassed and blackmailed priests and bishops (this should be taken into account when talking about the attitude of local bishops towards the apparitions). To claim that someone faked mystical ecstasies for personal gain in such a political environment is beyond ridiculous. When the apparitions started, everyone involved became a target of the secret services, the Russian KGB sent its people to Yugoslavia, the army blocked the whole area, because of this one could lose his head and not earn a fortune. @Christine Watkins: it would be very good to have a conversation with someone who can describe to Americans the context I'm talking about. I don't think Ann Vucic can do it either, because she didn't grow up in that environment either. Perhaps the journalist Darko Pavičević could, who published an excellent book about the first days of Medjugorje. Without this context, it is almost impossible to objectively talk about the apparitions in Medjugorje. It's self-evident to us from Croatia, but it's not for Americans.

Do not be sad! Medjugorje will prove itself. The seers have been more studied than any other in the world, and scientists have proven hundreds of times that the seers are in an altered state that they could not conjure themselves. The main thing to take away us that neither the Vatican nor the local bishops have approved the apparitions.
From what I remember, the Vatican allowed that groups and individuals can make private pilgrimages. They cannot make any that are seen as officially
promoted and sanctioned by the Catholic church.
When the local bishop does not approve that is a red flag for me because it has always been that the local ordinary speaks for the Church. As far as bishops outside the diocese, the best they can say about it is that they don't know.
It may well be that the controversy over .Medjugore will eventually end
and it will be approved. That won't take away from the decisions I and others
have made about this. We accept whatever the Church decides.
It would be good to research what those who find problens with Medjugore say.
In the video, you will learn two things or more that you've mentioned that aren't true. The following has changed. One is that the Church now approves of official diocesan pilgrimages, and the other is that the power was taken into the hands of the Vatican to decide on Medjugorje, officially nulling the personal opinions of any local bishop there. Cardinal Ratzinger found Medjugorje that important and convened the council that reported to the pope that the first seven apparitions were, indeed, the Mother of God.
Questioning Medugoria is not questioning the Blessed Mother. That is cult talk, and I don't buy what you're selling.

I always had questions about the same clip. It’s true if they are in complete ecstasy they would be totally unaware of the outside world. The seers at Garabandal were totally unmoved by external stimulus. One witness, when he tried to lift them on a dare they were like stone & felt like they weighed a metric tonn. Totally immovable.
The explanation that she thought the Blessed Mother was going to drop her son was implausible to me. Do we think Mary or Joseph would had dropped her son? Not for one minute. Joseph the demur prince would have killed to protect him. Bet on it. How do we explain her answer.
Please notice what is mentioned in the video that there are hundreds of scientific studies that have been done on the visionaries. Atheists have converted through studying their state. It has been proven beyond a doubt that they are in an altered state and cannot fake it.

Not really. She spent a lot of time trying to ruin a young man’s name for doing what people have done to every visionary of every apparition, and by doing so he caused a reaction no other visionary ever had. She also gave a very awkward explanation that is different than what the visionary said herself in an interview I saw several years ago.
Our Lady appeared six times at Fatima for less than an hour a time? She has been appearing at Medjigore daily for nearly 30 years. She is reported as saying the most amazingly trite things. Familiarity breeds contempt and one should never have contempt for the Mother of God.
I do believe in Medjugorje, and I have been there. It’s the most Catholic place on earth! The one thing I wonder about is when Mary told one of the visionaries that most people go to purgatory. The next most go to hell, and the least amount go directly to heaven. I think this is great news and I hope it is true. But how can most people be saved (making it to purgatory) if the vast majority of Catholics do not even go to weekly Mass and even less ever go to confession. Also, what about other religions and people that don’t even believe? Great news but confusing to me. I do hope it’s true though. Any thoughts??

God doesn't send any soul to hell. The only unforgivable sin, is to reject God's mercy, and some people, even on judgement day, refuse to repent of their sins. Sadly, these poor souls *condemn themselves* to an eternity of torment. I find this absolutely heartbreaking, as the enormity of eternity in torment, absent the presence of God, is hard to comprehend.
