Beetlejuice is an old favorite of mine, right up there with Ghostbusters and Raiders of the Lost Ark. I wish I could see this for myself, but I'm in Florida, and can't be going anywhere for the foreseeable future. The actors were incredibly funny, and the vibe of it was excellent. Very well done.
I wish more haunts were like this; an environment that really takes you into a roleplaying experience. I'm not as into scares but stuff like this, or The Meow Wolf installations are totally my bag. Thanks for the video!
Such a fun video! Everyone did a great job staying in character at the pop up event, & the art exhibit was so cool! Happy almost birthday (oh no you “died” before your birthday) & I like how you put on your passport the person who you wanted to meet in the afterlife was Button Gwinnett. Glad you got to visit Carrie Fisher’s star for Jenn 😊
What a great attraction! I came here to comment on what fabulous actors they have in this attraction... then I noticed it's in Hollywood! LOL no wonder!! Thanks for the video!
Im exactly your age Jake (a week or so apart) and all claymation scared the living F out of me as a kid. Omg the California Raisins and Gumby would send me out of a room!
If you're looking for more amazing things to do in the LA area, you should check out the Burbank home Halloween decorations. Many of them went all out this year.
Elysian Fields (Ancient Greek: Ἠλύσιον πεδίον, Ēlýsion pedíon) or Elysian Plains, is a conception of the afterlife that developed over time and was maintained by some Greek religious and philosophical sects and cults. It was initially separated from the Greek underworld - the realm of Hades. Only mortals related to the gods and other heroes could be admitted past the river Styx. Later, the conception of who could enter was expanded to include those chosen by the gods, the righteous, and the heroic. They would remain at the Elysian Fields after death, to live a blessed and happy afterlife, and indulge in whatever they had enjoyed in life.
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 the carpetbagger I saw the movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in theaters on opening night on a Friday, it was good 👍🎥🎞️🎬 this was first week of October.
As a kid, I didn't understand Beetlejuice either! I thought it didn't make any sense and was dumb lol like why did they start singing this silly song at the dining table? hahaha
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, honestly wasn't that bad. I'm not too fond of sequels either, since they usually have to pander to the original fans with nostalgia, or they'll complain. So that often staunches creativity and originality. So it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Dang if you do, dang if you don't with the limited screen time. But yeah, the movie made me laugh uncontrollably at 2 parts for some reason. 😂 Which I don't usually laugh or react much at movies nowadays. So that was interesting. I'm interested in ai movies, because everyone would be able to make whatever they want with low budget risks. And we could potentially see good movies again on UA-cam for free, once the technology is perfected. It would just be limited to the user's imagination and creativity. 5:40 someone actually mentioned the reason there was toolkits in the afterlife was because it was a dead brand. And I thought that was a really interesting side concept that inanimate objects could also end up in the afterlife. Not sure how that anaconda ended up there, it possibly could have died too somehow. Maybe after eating that guy it choked or something. 😂 6:38 I love that genuine confusion of how you died like the characters. 😂 But I would guess maybe you ate something bad on one of your trips. 🤣 20:00 Looked up Elysium Fields. It's apparently a place in Greek Mythology where only the virtuous and heroes go to when they died. I always thought that was Valhalla, but I read Valhalla is a place for Odin's army. So Elysium Fields is basically the place for the normies. 😂
Were the places on the map not places to visit at the Beetlejuice exhibit? You didn't visit the Elysium Fields. Its the Greek version of "heaven". If you watch the TV show Hercules the Legendary Journies they show it to you. Certain deceased people were allowed to go there after they died. It was like an award. Basically it was this beautiful place and everything was nice. I believe it was pronounced "E-le-see-um". Since you enjoy those cryptids you might enjoy watching Hercules - tons of monsters and way out there battles. It stars Kevin Sorbo. Great show! Never knew there were these "pop ups" in Hollywood.
The blue thing at 28:17 is called a WuvLuv ua-cam.com/video/c7aRpzC3P3I/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared I remember my sister had one as a kid. It was kinda weird haha, I’m pretty sure it was a product of the popularity of the Furby craze.
Wow! I can honestly say, that was an extremely lame Beetlejuice experience. Just my opinion of course, but they were really reaching with this. 🤣. Hope you didn't pay much for it
Not the best of your vlogs the beetlejuice experience was pretty short and a little mundane and tha kawaii museum was just plain confusing sorry missed the mark with this one😊
Jacob in character love it
Omg the jellyfish guy was hilarious! 🤣
Jellyfish guy is my spirit animal lol
They all did a good job staying in character

14:08 I think the shrimp breath got her lol
I loved the Beetlejuice cartoon as a child. It's currently on Tubi 😊
I loved the new beetlejuice. ❤ I’ve been a beetlejuice fan for many years. They did a good job.
"Is this your sand worm?" Can't say I've ever asked a man that.
I think the music Jacob picked for their dancing was pretty good. I had no idea it had to b changed till after
Best video ever!!! I'm a HUGE fan of Burton so you doing an entire video visiting the Tim Burton exhibit totally made my day!!! Thanks Jacob!!!!
Very nice video. I seen others where it's cut so much that you can't tell what is going on. Glad this one isn't cut too much
The immigration lady and the jellyfish man was hilarious
I enjoyed this way more than I expected to. Very creative.
That was a really cool experience! I liked the costumes and design of the place. They did a good job!

What a great attraction! I came here to comment on what fabulous actors they have in this attraction... then I noticed it's in Hollywood! LOL no wonder!! Thanks for the video!
Very cool attraction!
That little critter that rolled into a ball is a Popple ❤❤❤❤❤ my son had them when he was little.
6:21 Considering how Jacob tried his hand at working in a haunted house and the number of houses he's visited, I'd say haunting is right up his alley.
Hiii Jacob ☺ it was Super cool seeing u at the experience & very Kind of u to take the time to say Hello to my Sister , Great video 🤙
Omg lol. The Jellyfish. He really reminds me of Pauly Shore. 😂
This is awesome!
Loved the cartoon!
Me too
Elysium Fields is Greek mythology afterlife
Paradise for the few.
The plushy that transforms into a ball in the Kawaii exibit is a "Pupple's" from the 80's. ( I think)
Popples. Because they pop out of their ball.
enjoyed this very much Jacob, i especially liked the ''beetle juice afterlife'' , now that was FUN!! but i ''liked seeing Beetle juice himself.''
Very awesome 👍
Elysium fields is like the great afterlife in Roman mythology that everyone wanted to go to in the afterlife instead of Hades
You are awesome
Awesome video as always Jacob keep up the amazing job and safe travels
This is awesome, Jacob! Hope you had a great time!
Elysium pronounced E-lee-see-um.
Thanks for picking this one up, really enjoying the interactive elements.
Im exactly your age Jake (a week or so apart) and all claymation scared the living F out of me as a kid. Omg the California Raisins and Gumby would send me out of a room!
Fun!!
Great show 😂
Thank you bagger!
Great!
Jacob. Jacob! I think that was Kristin Schaal checking you into the afterlife! I’m freaking out, she’s hilarious!
You go Jacob.!!!! Nice work...XXX

It's sort of a Greek Valhalla
Right off the bat,"baseball guy"!
Another great video, I'm going tonight to see the movie. Keep them coming, Jacob. Till the next one, take care, my friend, and as always safe travels.
I went to watch this movie so I'd love to go here! I'd even like to go to a pop up of the first one. The first one more than the second
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 the carpetbagger I saw the movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in theaters on opening night on a Friday, it was good 👍🎥🎞️🎬 this was first week of October.

Danny ❤❤❤❤
The Beetlejuice cartoon is free on Tubi ✌️😁
I loved the cartoon
I'll always remember the banana boat song theme where there at the and the arm pushes them back good stuff
I feel the same about these remake nastalgic movies
The Jellyfish guy 😂 No cap!
That soda was terrible, it was like drinking a candle 😢
Definitely takes a certain type of individual to be a character 😆
Dude I go there too
Something to try with that fanta is to try it warm and not cold, I found it tasted better that way
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 💚🤍🖤
As a kid, I didn't understand Beetlejuice either! I thought it didn't make any sense and was dumb lol like why did they start singing this silly song at the dining table? hahaha

Button Gwinett! Could you have chosen a more obscure famous person?
There is a lot of strangeness going on there. I don't even know what I'm looking at, LOL.
Beetlejuice lives in hell and wants to get out! That's what's it's all about 😂
Cool video
Elissium fields greek myths, part of Hades

Please tell the story of how your therapist saved your life.
Had I known I would have met up with you
Fun Fact: The mispronunciation of "kawaii" (kawa-ee) translates to "scary" ("kuwai"). 👻👻👻👻👻👻

They say that every pot has a lid.
That pop-up was definitely not the lid for me.
