Billy's core passive Steady shot (crouch shot) actually increases all of his other skill's dmg so long as he is in that Steady shot state. Rolling out of it still counts as being in Steady shot mode, so you can boost your dash attack damage with it. This also applies to his Ex skill and his Ultimate
I have bee unsing mainly billy and boy he is good. With a stunner he becomes a beast since his Ult becomes more powerfull per each chain attack he is part. Combined with the swap in atk boost and crouching shot exta dmg you see hp of bosses dissapear. Its great. My fav combo for now is. Anby stun into pyper assault into anby again thwn bangboo then billy into crouching and ult. Its really fun.
6 meters is actually pretty close, like, a dodge away from the enemy close. It's more that you're meant to go in and out, his backwards roll from crouch shot, or his dash attack can get you into that range very easily to then get back in. It's more challenging to stay in crouch shot while focusing on that though, starlight engine is definitely more comfortable.
I am confused as I read the starlight replica as needing to be at least 6meters away (or more) so if you are to close it doesn’t proc or am I just misreading it?
I'm barely at level 40 yet and I'm around 1300 with him and I still lack some upgrade stuff, I'm sure once I unlock the next threshold I'll reach 1500-600 easily, billy gets insane the more you upgrade, he looks unassuming but is all about having his engine and a nice disk combi
Someone pointed it out, but starlight replica requires him to be away, it wants you to move in and out of close and far, dancing around the six meter range which is where his most damage is done anyhow.
Billy got powercrept day 1 (Why so many Physical Attacker!?) You need a bit of luck to get Nekomiya right now, but Corin is free and she's already better than Billy. Also, Piper is Anomaly, but she does alot more damage aswell because she procs Assault pretty fast. SPIN TO WIN! KURU KURU!! Her gameplay is alot more fun.
Her best partner seems to be the other A rank member of the police unit who is a defense character. He can buff the group with more anomaly mastery as well as give a free switch ("Back") to the previous character when he does a perfect assist (ie parry) Since he's electric that means you can sub in Grace for spot 3 and make a electric/physical anomaly disorder team.
@Lowlightt from what I can tell, I believe the meta team will be Grace, Rina, and then Jane Doe. Seth will definitely be a good sub for Rina but the Electra damage buff on top of pen ratio is just insanely good for the team 🫡
@@imtheinfamous If you are running a grace and jane doe you are looking at a disorder team, pen won't matter for them as it will be about proc'ing anomaly as much as possible between grace and jane. Rina is great but it would seem Seth will fill the role purpose of support while still being defense. His bonus to anomaly mastery will be worth more for disorder procs than doing slightly more dmg with grace or jane do to pen.
@Lowlightt I might be crazy but I'm pretty sure pen applies to all damage, I believe ignoring some of the enemies def is significantly better. Imo ofc but I guess we'll see 👍
@imtheinfamous if you are looking at maximizing dps then yes then yes pen is good. However if you trying to proc assault and disorder over and over again which chunks hp pen doesn't do anything. Disorder builds don't care about pen over anomaly mastery.

My personal favorite is cinema2. I like the feel and the challenge of using the rolling shots as my dodge. Granted I'm not good at it. But its fun. 😂
Yeah it's completely fun and for me cinema 4 is my personal favorite.

You need to be 6 m away for it to proc, but with Billy's play style you would normally move in and out so getting it to work isn't a big deal.
i see many tier list and i cant understand why players but billy on the boton of the list , he is super good, mine have 1650 dmg atk,
