Went to my first skull session and game yesterday after being a fan for almost 30 years. I wanted to be in the band so badly when I graduated highschool but it wasn't in the cards for me. I was tearing up the whole time , getting to experience the band in person. I'm so happy I got to experience this.
Aww, Good for you! It is a great experience. Took my dad a few years before he passed away. He raised us all as huge Buckeye fans but never had gone to a game in person. We finally got him there and he got to experience it all. I watched him more than I watched anything else. Hope you get to go often!
Although the Ohio University Marching 110 is who we've always gone to see every year, also getting tribute from the Best Damn Band in the Land means more than any Tusky Valley Trojan may ever have a chance to express.
Thank you for allowing the Wadsworth High School Marching Grizzlies to perform at the Skull Session on Saturday. We have many ties to OSU. Our assistant band director, Mr Sam Piehl, is an OSU alumnus along with 3 WHS band graduates currently playing: Carter Greenlees, Adam Quinn and Connor Croley.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I love the band so much. Hearing the Navy hymm in person was incredibly moving and there were more tears for that.
