- Alexey Molchanov ( molchanovs.com/ ) is a world record holding freediver, the deepest man with a monofin at 130 meters.
Dean's Blue Hole in the Bahamas is the second deepest blue hole in the world at 202 meters.

I am an ice swimmer and open water swimmer, but not a free diver. Free diving remains fascinating for me. Great!

I am interested in breath holding for many health benefits...Just I found that free divers know to lower their heart rate to hold their breath longer 🤔
not sure about his heart rate - it probably drops a lot during a dive. There is talk of less than 20 bpm, even less than 10 bpm, for some athletes.

Hi Diana, it depends: if i lay very still, i can hold my breath for close to 6 minutes. If i start moving and filming, it's more like 2 or 3 minutes max.
