With all due respect to sister Sheeba Charles, I have to say that she is speaking against the Biblical doctrine.
In 2 Timothy 4:3-4, it says, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”
In 1 Timothy 4:1, it says, “The Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.” The word “depart” is where we get our word “apostasy” or “apostatize.” It means that they leave the true doctrine or the faith that we believe, as Christians, and shall “be turned aside to fables.”
Titus 2:1 says, “Speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine.” Then you find, in verse 3 of our text, the words “sound doctrine.” The word “sound” before the word “doctrine” is a medical term. It means “health-giving, life-giving.” So when the Bible is taught soundly or truthfully, it brings life and health. It’s the life-giving, sound, Biblical teaching or doctrine.
In Jude 3 it also says, “Contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.” When you see the words “the faith”-not “faith,” which is subjective, individual belief-it means the body of truth that we hold to and believe that we should contend for. Jude is basically saying to put on boxing gloves. So I’m trying to contend “for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.” This is something that is so very important and on my heart to do.
I read your comments on this message of Sheeba Chandy. That forced me to hear that pary again and again. She always says the importance of meditating the word and learning the word. In this situation , she was saying the Kingdom of God is not just the word but on the power.
You know faith is important but faith without work is dead. The same way head knowledge of the word is nothing but when the word in action is power.
That the reason why Jesus told the disciples after teaching the word, before assendng "you wait upon the Holy Spirit, then you shall receive power."
When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you shall receive power......then you will be witness.

This interpretation of the the Word of God is out of context. The context of Corinthians is different; the interpretation doesn't align with the basis of Biblical interpretation.
Hear the message full before criticizing. She didn't say there was no need for word of GOD. Word without action remains. When the Holy Spirit works in men, the word gives actions. Jesus taught the disciples, and before ascending, He said, "Wait to receive Holy Spirit." When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you shall receive power.
@@salomychandy7446 Sister Sheeba Charles clearly took the Bible in her hands and said that the Kingdom of God is not in the word but in the power. She made this statement in Malayalam. And she read it in English and Hindi, She should clearly understand the verse which Paul has written to Corinthians. "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power." The phrase used is "matter of talk" and not "word of God" as Sister Sheeba Charles has interpreted. She should read the book of Corinthians and understand the context rather than pick a word and wrongly interpret it.
