Hi, im thinking to buy im508. Does it add keys for cas4? and you use km100 for key generation, cant the im508 do the key generation?

It was dealer key the kid put the battery in inside down and when he flipped it the tool worked it started the vehicle and the doors would unlock

We 2016 and prompted to put original key in the slot left lower of steering wheel and put the new key fob in as it said todo . When we got done the key inside car with other key 20’ away the car would start but the door unlock and rematch open would not work what did we do wrong thanks ?

Good discovery. What was your procedure leading up to the start of the video? Did you do the replace win module selection then relearn keys, then do the erase vin and pcm replaced?

Thanks bro, a tip for everyone doing AKL. If you dont hear the ticking noise very often, then youve most likely got the wrong fuse locaiton. You should hear the ticking noise 29 or more times per minute for gbox fast. If you hear it 14 times per minute, youve got the wrong fuse

Cant you use autel for this job?

Occasionally I have issues with prox functions not working with Autel Universal on CAS4. You must hold to sensor for vehicle to start. Even doing on bench. Perhaps I'm selecting incorrect prox on KM100? Once I fixed it by deleting Key 2 OBD then adding new key back in that slot. Any thoughts? Could CAS4+ be the issue?

Hi is the vin module same as the actual ignition? I have a car that replaced ignition+steering lock. Car starts and dies in seconds. Im using im508+xp400 🙏
