It’s my all-time favorite game, been playing Ninja Gaiden since the NES. Beautifully executed on every level. Tecmo will regret how they mistreated Tomonobu Itagaki, Tecmo ruined themselves by this move. The game will never be the same without Tomonobu Itagaki.
@@meathead207 That was obvious when Ninja Gaiden 3 killed the franchise. That was the moment when Tecmo realized what Tomonobu Itagaki meant for them, and what that name means in the gaming industry for people of culture. Razor's Edge fixed many bad stuff, but it was still flawed game. I didn't even bothered to try bullshit called Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.🤮
This reminds me of when Ryu ran on water and running across walls while controlling the camera. These are some of the most intense footages I’ve ever seen.
I get goosebumps everytime I see the scene where Hayabusa receives the key to the core from the dying ninja with this song in the background. Amazing game
I never played this game but i watched speedruns man this theme with the platforms shaking is incredible, you really need to hear it in game to have the full experience.
This was the very first video i had ever played when i was 6 years old. Amazing! it brings me back to all of the adventurous and challenges this game brought. I love it!
you know, I miss the days when Ninja team used to care about the soundtrack to their Ninja Gaiden games, the original soundtrack would fill me with a feeling of immersion into my mission, the music was so pretty and mysterious in some parts of the game, I wish they would go back to those times, today's Ninja Gaiden is full of boring generic rock music, every track sounds the same, gives me a headache. :(
I listened to this song on repeat while reading the House of Leaves, and bro, it's the best book to read while listening to this theme. Everything about this song I love-- it sounds so incredibly legendary while being haunting at the same time.
I remember the first time I heard this. Just beat doku after Lord knows how many attempts. Taking bloody 45 mins tryna figure out the platforming puzzle. I loved this game back then and I still love it now it has aged perfectly
You remember this dont you guys remember these words " though it dishonors me i give you this " gives key of the depraved soul " master forgive me " then dies
@@jujuojuojuojujuoisjoke1465 Yeah agreed, especially when you had to run up that spiral staircase, and those spirit fish bastards kept appearing...really annoying!
Well i finished Sigma 1(PS3) on Normal around 10 times, 1 time on hard but never on very hard(shame). I got the platinum trophy on Sigma 2(PS3). I think i finished the original xbox version also around 10 times on normal though lol.
@@cristiannuno2759 me too. I may not have a Xbox anymore but I kept the game I bought in 2004 in a drawer. I was 13 at the time. When I go back to my dad for vacation or breaks, I open this drawer where the game is and I reminisce. This game is one of the most haunting ever and it had a great impact on my teenage years like GTA San Andreas, Final Fantasy X, MGS 2 and 3, DOA3, God Of War and countless others.
The moment when your quest stopped being purely about vengeance. It was about taking the fight to the start of it all and freeing an entire nation while your demon-hunting partner took her unconscious sister to safety.
Exactly. At this moment, after Ryu and Rachel saved Alma and allowed her to regain her humanity, it was not only about personal revenge but a matter of life & death for a whole nation and the world overall. The whole atmosphere shifted and went even darker, scarier and more fucked up as it was when Ryu traveled to Tairon.
@@moisemensah8233 Agreed. Though I am curious as to what became of the Vigoor Empire once the emperor was killed. Presumably someone had to take power, but I think given that Rachel shows up in Sigma 2, Fiend activity has likely become nonexistent. Or if it is, it's sparse enough that Alma can hold vigil in her sister's absence.
@@AzureMoebius22 Peace go restored and people were probably able to rebuild with a newfound freedom and a political system free of the Emperor's overarching tyrannical rule.
OG Xbox's are cheap as fuck. You could find one at 40 euros to any videogame retailer, 70 for a 360 and an Xbox One for 100. Have fun, bro. Imma do the same.
I knew this is my favorite Ninja Gaiden. The music and the gameplay are so fucking epic. I think i'll play Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 again after a long period of time lol.
This place loomed so cool but it was so dark at the same time as soon as you got to the compound after finishing the labyrinth you knew the end was close that upside down castle was cool to . But I hated those damn ghost fish they are so annoying
Right??? Vigoorian Flail was my go-to weapon but I still had to jump every now and then to reset the move. Those fishes had an annoying tendency to attack me while I was vulnerable during a move
0:02-0:15 thts the sad part when u have to defaet tht dragons and u have to kill like 60 kills and get tht lives of thousands gods thts was hard they keep throw me in there in my points went up then i have to start over

Letsss gooo!!! They finally dropping the sigmas at least on new consoles and PC!!!
Thank you.
I played this game so much on my original Xbox... Loved this theme. I'd just pause the game and let this play when I was doing homework or projects.
Respect
Me too. This game impacted my teenage years and life overall.

I love how epic, dark, mysterious, and majestic this song sounds. This is my favourite, beside Pray to God. Those are the best songs.
i never thought girls would ever like things like this... amazing
City of Fiends is my favorite.
mm22 sapphire dude are you serious?
Military Supply Base has to be my favorite, just sounds so badass and imposing, especially for a guy fighting an entire military solo
@@StrongArmElijah The whole soundtrack was a vibe.
The theme of farming ghost fish...
lmao
music is beyond words

I’ve built muscles just while listening to this.True story
The crescendoing voices really kick this one up a notch 👌
Any time mate. Ninja Gaiden is also one of my favorite game series!

How to kill a franchise 101!
A skill later mastered by Konami.
Nioh proved they give a shit again!
Shayne Paris get ps plus and get ng sigma
Nioh has some good memorable tracks but some are meh
And most of them are not as good as Ng1 and repeated alot in missions and boss fights
@@TheFlamingPike the way they fucked the Metal Gear franchise up is unacceptable, unfathomable and uncomfortable to me.
The castle which leads you to hell i will never forget you and your denizens . Also the cursed blade which i aquired from doku is still in my grasp

Yeah, the fallen ninja at the top of the staircase? Course I remember him. The camera angle was wonky up there lol
Epic and memorable. Great tune and beats.
my favorite song of the game
Vigoorian flails are your best weapon there
Especially against the spirit fish. Those were annoying as fuck

I preferred using Dabilahro myself
I died many times because of those fish
