- Right Hand Methods for finger-style can feel challenging. Slow down and try approaching it in shorter increments. This exercise can be played in repetition to create the brain connection needed. It is a simple progression that is fun to play. I am playing a Gibson L1 (Robert Johnson) 12 fret guitar.
Gear used to record

Love your lessons. I've been wanting to learn fingerpicking. Thank you!
Thanks I've been working on fingerstyle for awhile but with this I have a exercise to work with thanks again 🎉😊
So glad it's helpful! Hope you have fun with it❤️
Great video. I see what you are doing and am already working on it. I'm working on those 10.000 hours! LOL Thank you again for some great instructions.
They say there is about 700,000 hrs in average lifetime. So 10,000hrs is only about 1.4% of your life dedicated to mastering guitar🤣 thanks for listening in❤️
@@guitarnotionsso I say again ... there's still hope for me ... 🤔😂❤
That’s a pretty chord progression. I’ll do this! They say it’s 10,000 hours for you to become expert at whatever skill you are working at!!
That a lot of working🤣 thanks❤️
Thank you for your teaching and patient encouragement. This may take 20, 000 hrs!!!
😀Good morning Pat!☀️ its not going to be smooth at first. Just don't stop trying. Go slow. And dont worry about making mistakes. ❤️
Fingerpicking yea.
Good morning and thanks for listening ❤️
That lookes like my Martin 00017
The Gibson is Little smaller than a 000 its more a 00. It has a 14 inch bout. It amazes how it keeps up with a 000. (note: love those Martins) Thanks for listening in❤️
@@guitarnotions Thanks for the work you do.
Thank you for your willingness to share your talent. I look forward to your videos!
