Remind me why Captain Walker and his crew felt embarassed and humiliated by the contempt they were shown when they had gone out of their way to encourage that contempt. There's no reason to react in that way to a situation they had planned and arranged. The plot was interesting, but after the first twenty or so repetitions of the aliens being smug and the humans congratulating themselves it lost some of its impact. I think the story would have worked better if it was a quarter of the length.
GREAT STORY EVEN GREATER ENDING COMMENT DISRESPECTING FOLKS FOR STUPID REASONS CAUSES TROUBLE. UNDERSTANDING/COMPASSION IS A BETTER WAY TO DEAL WITH STUFF.

Good theme
Right......... When pigs acquire the wings that allow them to fly through 7 dimensions.
Now let’s hope that earth can reach the 17th dimension…🤪
No, you don't give them any help with technology to set them on the path to discover how to achieve 7th dimension.
If they will stab you in the back ounce they will do it again.
Not a bad story, but despite the science fiction, the story is too repetitively self congratulatory.
