It’s great to see farmers taking good care of expensive equipment and keeping their parlor sanitary. You should be an inspiration to all dairy farmers.
So true. this is way better than watching something on discovery channel or animal planet. No one needs added drama or some deep narrators voice. I honestly can watch hours of this.
@@jackhenry9854 he wouldn't need to, some people just do. I love Cole the Cornstar but he can use clickbait sometimes. I just enjoy Eric's matter of fact approach to showing his life 😊
Hahaha, i love you’re humor so much! Now I know were you grow the cans! Thank you so much to hear you’re voice again and see all the good work you do! Thanks for sharing this with the World! It means a lot to me.
That skid steer broom attachment is sweet. I can't imagine sweeping those bunkers out by hand. I don't even like sweeping out my garage. Will be excited to see the corn chopping video/s. :-)
I was just going to say the same thing. I help my uncle during harvest and cleaning the bunkers sucks. Although we started power washing them because it's easier than hand sweeping them.
use to be one of my favorite thing to do on the farm chopping corn . it was nothing like your doing we only had two hundred acers . a lot smaller farm than your family's . best job I ever had but the kids didn't want anything to do with the farm so when the older generation of the family got to old to work the kids sold out. one of the saddest day of my life . so watching your videos brings back memories of the farming really enjoy your videos. please keep your videos going . from a big fan from Maine keep on smiling and god bless.
Hi Eric! Still love all your videos. Very down to earth stuff. You have a great sense of humor too! Love the Mountain Dew jokes...…. never see them coming.
Love the sound of a skidsteer. A very metallic sound. Brings back memories from using a Bobcat and a Cat on farms I've worked. Never been able to find a can in the corn yet, but I'll have a look on some local farms this coming summer. 😆👍🏻
Nice video and as a bonus, I now know where Mt Dew comes from, who would have ever thunk-it... thanks for your videos, handwork from all our beloved farmers
Your videos are fantastic! In what can seem like a world of vitriol and divisiveness, this stuff is a breath of fresh air. Just honest content from a truly respectable guy. Thank YOU!
I had a thought about all of those tires you use to hold the plastic down. If you put poles on the walls on the edge and between bunks you could just put them on there as you take them off and then you don't have to keep moving them.
Very neat and clean farm you have. I like the way you cleaned the silo and got it ready. It only takes 7 hrs to ferment silage in Farm Sim 17 but the harvesting and compacting process is slow and tedious. I look forward to see how it is done in real life. I almost died sweeping out a grain bin as a kid. I did not know about Farmers Lung or that I had bad allergies to grain dust and spores so I would make a lousy real life farmer.
My son and I are obsessed with your videos. I clicked on your video and he came running when he heard your voice 😂 hes only 2 but he loves your content as do I!
Oh Eric, this is so interesting. There is so much to know in running a farm and dairy. You will never have a big stomach. Stacking the tires and those other things will keep you in shape. I sure didn't know that the cows eat all the green parts of the corn too. I guess I'd never thought of it before. I really liked this video. Very good. You're doing a good job
You sure have that trained eye to spot those perfectly ripe ears. As a layman, I would say you have a gift. Maybe some sort of corn whisperer. Great, informative video as usual.
Can you explain about the nutritional needs of dairy cows. You show mixing feed so its clear they need a variety of food: nutrients from different bags of powdered stuff, then silage, then alfalfa and triticale (are they for the the same or different nutritional need, is there grain too? Thanks, we never knew it was so complicated. Can't wait to see the bunker filling process.
You could have a medium size bunk to put the store the tires all neat and stack on crates and sand bags to . Tat would be a great help .That way you could have the bunks all cleaned and ready to go
Great video Eric! Harvest and fall is coming, the best time of year. Your family farm is so beautiful, it really shows how much pride you guys take in it. I was wondering, all of the tires that you cover up your silage pile with, do you cut them in half yourself or do they come that way? Chopping corn was always my favorite too. I hope you enjoy your weekend. I need to figure out how to get corn to grow Mountain Dew😂
You always crack me up with your Mountain Dew jokes man I remember the video you dropped that Pepsi in that cow shit and gave it to your dad that was hilarious and I'm still watching this video but you guys stay safe and have a good one man we will see you on the next one👍👍👍👍👊👊👊👊
The soda thing never gets old. I still chuckle thinking about the manure out soda you gave to your dad
Jeff Yurek that was a good prank he did on his dad
Wich video was it? I'd like to see it!!

I respect your work ethic! getting off the skidsteer to help dad load those sand bags without any hesitation was great!
Love your attention to details with cleaning the bunks. Corn silage is definitely my favorite time of the year also. Thanks for the video!

I love how real and honest you are in your videos. It's just how life is, no clickbait needed! :D
I don't know, I have a suspicion that some of these Mt Dews have been planted.

Why would he need to clickbait about farming. No hate obviously

I checked some of the fieldss around here and no one planted Mountain Dew this year, just corn everywhere! ☹️

Great vid! Thanks for sharing it!
I love what you’re doing
Another fantastic video great work and just showing us farm life as it is keep them coming.
Still my favorite channel 👍👍
I'm a rancher! Why is this so fascinating to watch?! You would think I'm used to it!
Those power sweepers are the best the make the job of cleaning up so much easier couldn't imagine what it was like to hand sweep those bunks!
Just siting our in the field irrigating and watching your videos
Wow your corn is farther along than ours here in Minnesota. Some of our silage corn may not even make an ear by the time it freezes
I'm looking forward to the harvest. Please keep them coming.
You sure have that trained eye to spot those perfectly ripe ears. As a layman, I would say you have a gift. Maybe some sort of corn whisperer. Great, informative video as usual.
Love seeing the process of getting ready. U got my sub bud.
You are a realy good worker

Mountain Dew ready for harvest, that was clever. You're good Eric.

Find a choc milk in the corn, now that is a find....you ever heard of corn milk....?? I enjoy your show. Thank you
Your videos are always interesting to watch.
Loved so cool..can't wait for corn harvest. ..yay
I have to agree with a lot of the folks on here, the hidden Mountain Dew is fun! Thanks for the amazing videos.

We rented a machine that cut the small ones in half. We buy the truck side walls as is
Mountain Dew placement is on point lmao.
Another winner.. Thanks for sharing your life.. You're a very cool dude
Next year I am going to plant an entire field of Dr. Pepper, I'll let you know how it goes. Great video thank you
That must be a very special variety of corn to deliver cold beverages, Eric 😂
Another great video keep up the hard work!!🐄
Great job, again. Keep up the good work.
The bucket you used for the bunk was really cool I’ve never seen anything like it
Great vid. Channel is growing quick, your gaining almost 400 new subscribers a day. 11.5k in the last 30 days, not bad!
Bro I spit my drink when you pulled the dew out of the corn husk 😂
Question. Have you ever thought about stacking the sidewalls on a skid as you cut the bunk back.? You could move the skid to the side as they fill up.
I think you had "Double Bubble" in the cornfield today. Two Dews for you!!
Your dew stalks are ready for harvest. My work just got a brand new new holland skid steer, 2 hours on it im excited. Our other one had 3200 hours
looking forward to the CS harvest videos next week!
Haha the Mountain Dew bit was great 😂😂😂😂
Wow, that is a clean bunker!
Did not know you can grow mountain dew in a corn field ha ha that was good you guys are always working so hard hope you get to rest sometimes
When you start feeding out of silo stack tires some where out of the way then no mess when start cuting
Yes uhh! the smell of the cool weather and choped mature corn .a Sense !!of accomplishment.
Great Mountain Dew yield. I've been told that skittles grow in the middle of the field. Keep a look out.
