Regarding goals: a concept I find interesting is the idea of setting good, better and best goals. That way you can set targets on (good - this is supporting me), (better - this is a stretch but awesome), (best - I can’t imagine this wow!). That way you can still feel good about reaching good goals that pay your bills, but maybe don’t buy lobster dinner.
I love this idea! I'm super goal driven and end up disappointing myself when I achieve something that, in reality, I should be very proud of.
Oh I love this! Just always being positive and realistic. It takes me a little while to get into this mindset and change but trying!
I love your artwork and Rel's too. You guys deserve even more followers because you're art is surreal and amazing.

It’s hard work ! I used to do market sales every weekend with my partner.. and it was so dicey, some days little money, some days good sales , some days zippo ! Then we had to cope with weather. The windy days & rainy days, were quite challenging. ~ We met people who religiously did the market sales, every sat & sun for years & years. Real labor of love, emphasis on “ labor” ....

A trick to lay down paper on a sticky surface on your own, roll it on a round tube (make sure its positioned correctly) and roll away :D, hassle-free. Pro tip from an architect that had to prepare many many presentations boards.

Need to know about your t shirt, is it your own design? I was thinking that kind of multiple images format, graphic collage might work with some of your palette and designing, you'd only have to dial down the steampunk surrealist vibe one or two notchs!
The first shirt is a Camille chew (I think) design. Second tee is a old screen print shirt of mine. The multiple printed design one is by Black Milk from their Star Wars collection.
Gotta say. I was an artist in th alley as well, and I hung around for 5 hours not knowing only the stages outside were open 😳 kinda glad I wasn’t the only one...
I totally feel what you said about the struggles of making original art vs fanart as I personally only make original art as well; that's the reason I don't ever have a stall at Armageddon (New Zealand equivalent to Supernova) But I recently started selling prints, stickers and zines at zinefests! I know Melbourne has one as well; might be interesting checking out those events!

It's so hard! I just hate the idea bending my art into that category but do feel it will be necessary if I decide to keep doing it. Good luck with your art and the zinefests! They sounds awesome.

Hey! im also Australian and im considering doing supanova or smash next year for the first time! I was also thinking about printing at officeworks and was wondering what type of
paper and gsm do you think works best? Also in terms of setup im not really sure how to go about setting things up in terms of installments
Go with 300 GSM matte paper. ☺️
