I've never clicked on this show yet. I mostly watch Somethings Burning, but omg! 3 minutes in and it's some of the funniest shit on UA-cam! But damn, the thumbs down and the 2 comments about looks on the internet makes me so sad it's ruining my time. I guess fans of All Things Comedy have a lot of shitty brodudes with problems.
Pretty normal ingroup vs outgroup dynamics between men and women, usually by those who are politically vigilant. Step 1: see women trying to do comedy; Step 2: experience disgust without having viewed it; Step 3: try and rationalize that initial gut reaction through what seems (to them) to be reasonable arguments; Step 3.5: vigilantly criticize the political stances of others, all while failing to recognize that we all possess biases that color our perception of the world; and so on... In truth, I often prejudge that a group of girls talking will not likely be my cup of tea. But I keep an open enough mind by recognizing this is a generality, not a rule. Others are not so fortunate. That opening "ABCD" joke by Nicole in the first 2 minutes was so damn funny, glad I gave it a listen.
Or maybe this is just cringe and bad. I could care less that they are women or about their politics. They just come off as they are trying way to hard to be different and uniquie. Just look at how they dress and act, they are nerds who are trying to be cool and it doesn't work.
@@RS-qy5hn You pretty much just reinforced what I said. You looked at their appearance, and that guides your expectations for their behavior. What I find odd is that some of your criticisms for these girls could also apply to Weinshenk (who I see you uploaded a video of). One could argue that she dresses even more cringy, and her personality is just as odd though perhaps less outgoing. On top of that, she is nowhere near as funny in conversation as these girls (though her standup may be another story). In any case, I am not suggesting that everyone's criticisms of these girls is completely unfounded, but many seem to be rooted in anger and disgust rather than a well-though criticism. Even yours is vague and unnecessarily judgmental.
Loved this!! I just listened to the Marcella episode of “why won’t you date me” a few days ago. Also I love Marcella’s nails!! But Lmao Steph touched Nicole so much in this......just a personal pet peeve of mine i guess.
A guy with 3 subs and a playlist called dad definitely doesn’t have daddy issues. Especially when they wear bracelets and wristbands and sleeveless shirts. Totally top notch man, over here.
Nicole Byer for the win! My girls love Nailed it, I watch because your hilarious! This is my favorite episode so far! Whooop whooop ladies!
I love yoooou Marcella!!

I like the show, but I'm in love with Nicole Byer. Why all the hate?

I’m curious about the name of your podcast, why did you decide to go grammatically incorrect?
