LoL, nice catch on the falling camera. 😃
Man, Sheila and I can not wait to hit the road like you two are, thank you for sharing your travels with us all. You are such a sport knowing you’re not one for tight places underground, and yet you were willing to venture down and explore. We did a Walmart thanksgiving day last year, had the entire lot to ourselves and about 4” of snow fall that night as well, even had police security until the next morning when Walmart opened. Best possible stay for us in a Walmart 😉.
Did you all collect each of the parks patches, or do you not do that?
Yeah the HH sure did look better than that Walmart 😂. Well free with the idea you’re supposed to support the local HH with buying an item or some food. At least thats how Sheila and I interrupted it.
Again thanks for sharing, and continue having fun, and of course safe travels…

Hi! I was dropping everything in this video … wish I would have caught the liquid make-up! Have to say, your Walmart stay sounds much nicer than ours, with police there and an empty lot! Glad your rig was able to keep you toasty! Love waking up to snow … happened to us in St Louis last year (though we were staying in family’s driveway).
Yes, for Harvest Hosts we patronize the business. For the saloon, we bought a few drinks and tipped and they still charged us a $10 fee for 1 night dry camping. We won’t be back!
We collect stickers national park stickers! Haven’t figured out what we are going to do with them yet … but we have them!
As always, appreciate your comments! When the weather gets warmer, hope to see you out on the road. Safe travels!

Oh wow on top of the saloon patronage/ tip. That’s not right, yall should contact Harvest Hist. This might be against their TOS.
As far as the stickers we don’t peel them we had Velcro so we can just place them around the interior walls of the van. 😊

It doesn't look very windy from your video. Last Jan/Feb when we were in that area the winds were so strong that they knocked over a 40 foot diesel pusher in the Guadalupe Mtn. Visitor Center parking lot.

Wow! Thank goodness we didn’t experience those winds! We try to avoid driving in extreme weather. Poor diesel pusher was probably trying to wait out the wind in parking lot 🥲 Yikes! We’ll be careful on that stretch in the future! Thanks for your comment! Safe travels!

Are there enough camping spots where there are not a lot of people ? We are thinking about buying a camper van but need to go to places where we aren’t smelling other people’s camp fires . Is this a pipe dream? Thanks in advance for your input!

I have to say it’s not too bad where and when we have gone. I can’t complain about camp fires. Typically if you are reserving a spot online, you can see how crowded it is when you make the reservation and you can try to get a spot in a corner. We love the campervan! Recommend it!
