  • In this first episode, we dive into the basics of web applications created with TMS WEB Core, distinguishing them from traditional Windows executables. We'll explore how the Delphi IDE facilitates the development process, including the initial setup and deployment of a simple web application. Follow along as we create a basic 'Hello World' project, save and configure it, and understand the role of the TMS web server in running your application. Perfect for beginners, this guide provides a foundational understanding to prepare you for more advanced topics in future episodes.
Stay tuned for the next part where we'll explore deploying these applications on various web servers like IIS, Nginx, and even Docker! For a more detailed guide, check Holger's book 'Web Application Development with Delphi.

Thank you for making videos like this. We need you to make more video tutorials like this. We have at our disposal many components that we are not aware of how to use them. For users like me, All Access, I think it's essential to videos like this. By the way, the books should be free for the customer, not paid, it is a very ugly detail.

Thank you for your kind words and for appreciating my video tutorials. I’m glad to hear that you find them helpful in navigating the various components available.
Regarding the suggestion that my books should be free, I understand your perspective. However, it’s important to remember that, like anyone else, I have bills to pay and need to support myself. Additionally, when you purchase a license from TMS, I do not receive any compensation from that transaction.
Creating and maintaining high-quality content and resources requires significant time and effort. Your support through purchasing my books enables me to continue providing valuable materials and tutorials. I hope you understand, and I appreciate your support.
Thank you again for your feedback and for being a part of this community.

@@holgerflick I apologise if you have been bothered by my comment. I didn't mean that you don't charge for your work. I thought they were books written by you, for the TMS company. Sorry again.

@@elcharlie No apologies are necessary. I simply wanted to ensure that you understood my perspective as well.
