Arena Afflicted hunts seem to be HP bloated but it might be just me. I took like 5 minutes downing a Barioth in a Barioth+Afflicted Goss Arena quest, while it took me just 3:30 on top of the time I took picking up birds and spiders to down it in a Barioth+Afflicted Auroracanth Frozen Islands quest.

@@Stroggoii Yeah i think you're right. I fought an arena afflicted zinogre and it took alot of ice ammo to kill it. i guess it's to account for the fact that you get a prism spiribird

Sorry if this is a stupid question but; I noticed that you refill your phials when charged to yellow, you load up the shield, then you do a discharge.
Does the discharge not do more damage when the phials are glowing red before use? If not then I've been using CB completely wrong.

Nope same damage, he use load shell skill. It can fill all phial when yellow so no need to charge until red

Typically yellow gives you 3/5 phials, and red gives you 5/5. But theres a skill called Load Shells that lets you fill everything with only yellow so its pretty much a staple for builds

Loaded shells skill lets you fill all phials even if it still yellow

it's actually bad to have your phials glowing red since strikes bounce so yeh, load the second you hit red or use load shells to load when in yellow if you want max phials.

charge blade is addictive no matter the playstyle. I can't put down my blast spinning axe build 😅

Miss my spinning axe sets haha, but imagine going forward SAED will be around much more in future games so better for me to get practice with it.

@@Pyrac I still find both good. when I'm tired of trying to guard a monster that darts around or just drop into randoms, I throw on blast css and go to town. I love the variety cb offers.

Have condensed spinning slash on a scroll and charge it the same way you would with the sword

Its just the old standard dragon conversion set with an atk boost 3 talisman max as many resistances as you can and rapid morph/load shells
