You can't fully convert it as wireless dongle is still required, but with video you can remove the battery and directly use it with your system.

you probably have an answer by now, but for anyone wondering: since you only connected the 5v positive and ground, the keyboard is technically still "wireless". only the power delivery is wired.

No, it won't damage caue keyboard comes with capacitors which will take as it won't allow the extra power in keyboard it will only use the power which is required on keyboard. So no need to worry I'm using keyboard from 6 months and I didn't faced any issue.

No it won't work as every keyboard is programmed specifically for keyboard reason is some keyboard have extra multimedia keys ,some have extra features thats the reason they won't be compatible to the other keyboard

Hey in starting of video I mentioned it you still require dongle as this solution is to fix frequently batteries replacement issue. What you can do is try to get universal dongle which will be compatible with your keyboard.

wait a sec... this keyboard use 2 batteries of 1.5 volts each. so this keyboard is 3volts... but you put 5volts to it, it will burn anytime
But the battery is in series so the voltage output is 2v to 3v there's no problem f

No, usb dongle is required to transmit data. We cant send wireless signals directly with cable that's the major issue.What you can do is supply additional power source so you won't need to frequently change batteries on device.
