my black spring with the preload maxed its only doing 14-15 with 0wdgc lol. and its supposed to be 18-21 or w.e. i have it cranked all the way . these springs are kinda shit. i went to the next level up and cranked it and thats 18 at the gate lol. i am running 30psi on my volvo s60r and with any less preload the linearity of the spring is shit. so i gotta crank it. me7 is fun -_-
I have the 2nd gen cruze..few mods..but the car is Tuned for 21psi...and currently running stock waste gate with I believe 8 pound spring...and I'm getting this next week and was wondering if you knew what spring I should use ..so I can keep a more steady 21 psi..rather than it hitting 21 than dropping to 18psi
I have the 12psi spring in right now. Much more and you will have a hard time driving normally. I was told you want about half of the PSI you plan to use. Hope that helps! I love the mamba definitely!
Also, you may be losing boost from a leak, or 21 is the cut in your tune and it just loses that pressure following the Wastegate Duty Cycle tables. I usually only top out if I'm on the drag strip, WOT.
@@jonathanlopez2022 No worries! The biggest difference I noticed right away, was it built boost in 1st-3rd much faster. Even at like 30% throttle at least 5-10psi per gear.
I'm not gonna say it's better than any of the other Billet WGA options we have available now, but yeah I recommend upgrading for sure! I haven't played with other springs much yet, but I plan to this season.
Dude your skipping cut scene made me genuinely laugh. Appreciate ya
Haha thanks dude! That was all I really wanted lol.
I also installed one on mine, but any preload (even half a turn) would cause a CEL...so I left it without preload...!!
That's no good! Does it still hold boost, and drive well??
@@doescars5417 yes it does!!
Panos, you tuned?

@@DiamondNedFlanders Oh yea, even if it's just to give you better boost control. More responsive, and more accurate.
