I’m thinking of using the Salt New York color adjusters and white bases to mix a custom green color corrector. I would love to see you attempt this as well!
The blue adjuster is a warm blue on my skin, like some sort of dark cyan, which kinda surprised me since there are 2 yellow adjusters. May as well throw in a magenta adjuster. 🤓

The blush is lovely on you! Almost looks like the color of some contour products! Not bronzers, but greyish contouring products. It might be a fun experiment for you to try using products marketed for contour as blushes!

Hannah, I wonder if because of your neutral blush creation you might like the trick of just using deeper foundation products as blush or bronzer. I am SUPER pink so I need a bronzer that is very cool toned. I started using my favorite foundation but in a deeper cool tone and it’s perfect. I wonder if there is an olive undertone foundation in a medium shade that you would like as blush. 🫒
Thank you for the idea! I'm very cool toned and pretty lightskinned. Bronzes, coppers, warm browns, etc. look dreadful on me. I've heard about using dusky mauve-grey eyeshadows for contour. I'll try your idea!

I completely understand what you mean by the blush! I also discovered that I’m a very pale olive after your skin tone/ undertone video. I once purchased a dior, limited edition blush that legit looks like a deep grey contour in the pan. I couldn’t believe it couldn’t be advertised as a blush. But guess what? I tried it on and it looks great on me! Gives me the same effect you have on your cheeks now. I couldn’t believe it worked and have regretted not getting more as it was limited edition.
Maybe you should look at complexion products, looking for a neutral blush?
I agree that your skin looks sooo good with just green color corrector. It’s amazing. It’s why I keep trying different ones, hoping that they will work their magic on me, too. I swear we have the exact same coloring, and yet….
Maybe try the green corrector from EXA. it’s an olive green color that would work great I think. I have light to medium olive skin.
I am ordering the Salt New York shade adjusters that I don’t have so I can make your blush shade! We have similar coloring, I have a neutral basically gray undertone and I’m in love with that color!

I'm from the DMV area, you'll love it! I miss it all the time, the only reason I left was because I'm on a single income and it's untenable from a cost of living standpoint. Can't wait to see your new background!
Hannah, I am very particular about complexion brushes and I have been very happy with the It Cosmetics brushes--The It Cosmetics for Ulta line of complexion brushes is sometimes less expensive but identical quality. Very dense but never scratchy, lovely weight to the handle, extremely durable, I have had my main brush for 18 months and i have Honest to Gosh never seen a single bristle fall out or loose. Washes and reforms easily to new condition. My favorite and best looking method for applying my foundation, and for a gentle blending sometimes if things don't look smooth if I go back in with a lot more complexion products other ways and things do not look completely seamless.

I got the Victoria Beckham bronze eyeliner. It didn’t look great on me as an eyeliner; however, it is gorgeous as a one and done eyeshadow. It blends beautifully!
Hannah, oh my goodness. This look is one of the most flattering looks on you!! We all love collecting these beautiful things, but these videos are a reminder to me that the makeup I love best & reach for most could really function as my only products, and could deliver some of my most gorgeous looks. It doesn’t have to be super dramatic or colorful or bright and shiny: just choose the products which flatter me best and feel the best to wear.

Lordy the struggle with pink and berry blushes are REAL for pale olive undertones. Every berry blush turns hot pink on me 😢 I have do a custom mix with a few Salt New York blushes to get a proper berry color for my skintone.

Video idea 🥰💡 for me atleast, it would be SO helpful to see a side by side of good vs poor base/complexion products or application. I’d so appreciate (suuper) close ups of the under eye product application or on your dry areas kinda showing what you consider a good application vs problems (clinging, patchiness etc). I have dry under eyes and I feel like I can’t get them to look how I want with concealer but I’ve never rlly seen how even my fav influencers’ concealer looks up close! So hard to know if it’s something I’m doing and if I can achieve better!
I’m loving your use of creams and judicious use of powder! And your k]makeup looks divine. The green colour correctors - I’m confused. They are all ‘mint’ being green with a hefty dose of white (some less than others as you note) but they are not olive and are not transparent enough to correct without masking on deeper skin tones. This is where I hope salt New York goes - we need a transparent corrector for olive skins which also corrects red. I am pale olive but cannot use the correctors you’ve demonstrated as they look like mint green ghostly paint on me. Olive skin needing correctors are a whole new challenge especially in pale tones!

I’m wondering if that LA girl green concealer is the lighter shade of green. I think it’s called mint? I hated the other green color corrector I got from them, but it’s because I’m super pale and the version I initially got from la girl was a much darker green. So excited for your color corrector vid!
That custom blush blend! I wonder if it could work as a contour color. I also wonder if you could reach the perfect blush shade with fewer ingredients. Like, is there a different Sneaky Balm shade that you could push toward a mauve-ish pewter with only a smidgen of a Salt cheek color?

I am a big fan of the Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass treatment for color correction but would be interested in trying other options. Looking forward to hearing your reviews.
I had this playing in the background while I selected makeup to pack for a long weekend in New Orleans.
How I kept it minimal:
Only2 lip colors, a gloss and a multi use pigment, that I can use all over the face. The multi use pigment is also my eye base for the two single shadows I packed (a gold and a burgundy). An eyebrow pencil, mascara, concealer, and pressed powder rounds things off! I have a go to look with all of these, with some variations that I can wear to different events or nights out

I wish there was more products specific for us olive gals! I once had my makeup done by a professional who were shocked how pink and red everything looked on me 😅 I'd love to try that blush, looks great!

Talking about how everything looks too pink on the skin was what finally tipped me over to knowing I’m olive undertoned. Lippies are especially hard because they are always WAYYY too pink.
For myself, I would want an everyday nude lipcolor or tinted lipbalm to throw in my purse for ease of use. Grabbing that palette for lipstick touch-ups doesn't sound super convenient while on the road. But you definitely know yourself & how you use your makeup. I hope you have a safe trip & that all your belongings make it their destination unscathed--including you & Joe & the fur baby.

Hey there! I actually own one of the Lethal Cosmetics liquid shadows which is duochrome (I have the shade entropy, I got it for my birthday). The shade is so beautiful, it really blew me away. However, I can't really get it to work. Because it is water-based it really doesn't stay on the eye where it's supposed to, at least not on the mobile lid. It really creased on me when I tried to get it to look the way it does in the tube or in a swatch, even when I waited a long time for it to set. It was also really fussy to try to get an even layer, it didn't really stick in some places and didn't layer over itself well. I think using just a little bit an tapping it on with a finger might help (like you did) but I am not sure that it would look as amazing as it promises to be. I have also not tried using it over a black base so maybe that's what I should try next. I have not had any issues using it on the rest of my face (I used it to create a scaley look on my temples). Great video as always!
