I am a former pupil of Batley Grammar School and I can't believe how the school treated the teacher and threw him to the wolves. A friend of mine was a teacher there at the time of the Muhammad inciident and left shortly after as he could not contine to work there after that. He now has a better job in education away from crap like this.
Why has the government allowed this to even happen. We don't live in the middle east, we live in the UK.
Simple answer, our politicians are now wef puppets following wef orders and agenda to totally collapse Western culture and values in the hope it will cause mass civil unrest that will lead to civil war. The Palestinians could already have their own country but their leaders have refused any attempt for peace throughout history (including the Oslo and Camp David talks in the 90s and 00s) and have never offered an alternative.

It's a matter of who and what they decide (because it is a decision they are consciously making) to protect. They are not protecting free speech. They may give a speech about how great it is to live in a nation that protects free speech, in order to gain political power within a democracy, and play off of those values, but when push comes to shove, they don't care about your right to free speech, and would rather cater to other ideologies, for whatever reason. Maybe it's fear, maybe it's votes, maybe they think they get votes from white people by being white, and from non whites by protecting the value's they hold dear, more than the more "western" value's
Because when people stand up to it, they are arrested and labelled racists, and after that will probably lose their jobs to boot. The government and police are scared of being labelled as well, so we are stuck in this cycle of ignorance.

I'm British and lived in Lebanon during the '60s when Lebanon was modern, mainly Christian. Lebanon was democratic and liberal and called the Switzerland of the Middle East, I saw how the Muslim Palestinian refugees took over Lebanon and destroyed it. When I came back to England, I said to be careful not to allow Muslims who can't fit in and answered me you are racist.

My father and father in law, both deceased, were Polish. They came here after the second world war. They were grateful to be here. It had its hey day in the 1960's and helped increase living standards for working class people through all western europe in that time. When I started learning German language in university my teacher told me:”you have 7 months to get to A2 level if you want to go with our group to Germany.” At that time I could say hello and how old I am. I studied hard, had several exams, multiple interviews before they approved my visa. I worked for my guest-family as babysitter/chef/maid/therapist for pocket money.
One more important rule was - I must attend language courses and I paid for it with my hard earned pocket money.
So I was beyond pissed when in 2015 I saw an interview on tv with some 18 years old “refugee”.
He and his friend lived in Wien, in a big apartment for free, social workers helped them to adapt: one nice lady cleaned the apartment, other nice lady cooked, third nice lady did the dirty laundry. While two grownups played video games and, oh the horror, attended language courses. Paid by taxpayers.

He told me, there is too much smoke and therefore not comfortable, but here, where there no smokers the air is clean, and he can relax and enjoy his cigarette much more.

Threats, intimidation, bomb hoaxes, windows smashed, property damaged, murders.......think of the things that have happened in the past. The murder of the French teacher Harris mentioned is one, another is the beheading of a teacher in France for which six teenagers were arrested, and another is the murder of three Jewish chlldren and a rabbi at Jewish school in Toulouse, (with others wounded by the gunfire.)
It's difficult because the only way to stop this is to stand your ground. Surround the school with armed police and just keep going, but for how long? It took years before they actually got to Salman Rushdie didn't it? These types are fanatics and so every member of staff could be in danger both in the school and in their everyday life outside of it. Then there's the fact that schools obviously have a duty of care to their pupils and staff, and if they are threatened then what parent is going to send their child to school? It would actually be a pretty irresponsible one.
