i love spending time alone because i’m very introverted. japan looks like a good place to solo travel bc the only thing that makes me anxious about traveling alone is feeling awkward at restaurants… but the restaurants there have so many spots for solo dining. love it
For those who are coming to Japan for sightseeing, please be careful of the summer heat. The humidity in Japan in the summer can be very uncomfortable, and it is more so in the cities. If you are coming to Japan in the summer time, it would be better to go to low humidity places such as Hokkaido or Nagano, or to the highlands! Or you could avoid traveling during the day and enjoy sightseeing at night.
Yeah, please don't underestimate Japanese summer. The heat island effect in Tokyo can make your stay very miserable. I would stay away from Tokyo between June - August unless you don't mind the rainy season in June. But July and August have been unbearable for me.
I have. Freind is is half Japanese and Mexican...I always known she was popular in school..but I want to say she was the beauty queen of school and the ultimate epidome of beauty without telling her...she was also a great fighter and basketball player
Couldn’t agree with this more. Im from canada and this heat hit me like a truck. I got really dizzy the first day here because i didn’t take it serious been good after that day got water on me at all times 😁
It’s fascinating seeing how you travel alone. What’s your favorite part of traveling alone, what’s your least favorite part of traveling alone? Were you affected by the earthquake that was in Japan recently?
My favourite part is experiencing everything with myself and only myself! Least favourite part is randomly getting lonely sometimes. Also no, I was in Osaka when it happened but my friend who was in Tokyo at the time said he felt it!! Thanks for your comment 🙂
this video felt so… real, I can’t describe what I mean but it felt like I‘m actually there without filters and only the nice clips, and as someone who will travel to Japan next year on my own, the video really helped
First video I seen by you and I love your style of filming with the text and your chill vibe 🙏🏼 going to tokyo next month by myself so this really helps!
Nice video! Whenever I’m in Japan I always schedule the sightseeing around the food. I’m stuffing my face all day long, the food over there is so good! The last time I was in Tokyo, my boyfriend didn’t feel so well, so he stayed in the hotel for a day. I went exploring all by myself and it was a really nice experience, I loved to do everything I wanted at my own pace.
a full strawberry sando is seasonal, usually around winter times where strawberries are in season. hope you can visit again, japan is nice during the winters!
Can you please do a video where you explain how you plan these trips😭 I want to travel but I’m so intimidated by the whole process. Then there’s you just going on adventures alone 🥹🫶🏼
It’s so fun to cook your own food at a restaurant because you don’t have to do the cleaning! Lol love your videos!! I’m inspired to travel alone to Japan. Watching your Kyoto video next.
I went to Japan twice in the last year. My first trip was about 6 days in Tokyo, very similar to yours. I walked and ate like no tomorrow haha. The second time, I got the JR pass and explored other cities. Can't wait to return!
My college days are still fairly fresh in my memory and $60 is quite an amount of money for one dish, but I appreciated the way you looked at it...eh the food was high quality and I had a good experience....I wish i had that kind of attitude when I was your age. Thank you for the video.
2:05 it’s not that the strawberry cream sandos are super rare but that it’s slowly going out of season right now so supply is less thus, not many full strawberry desserts. If you went around Jan - March their would’ve tons of strawberry desserts and sandos
Going to McDonald's in Japan is worth it. Because they have a Japan-only menu and give you a sense of peace of mind in a country you don't know. The burgers and fries are good quality, just like the pictures.
"I kinda wanna get Ramen, but I'm not even hungry and I've been eating all day" ...gets candied strawberries. That's totally me. Kudos to you for travelling alone. =)
i went to japan alone for a week and by the end of it i could really feel how much i missed talking. i dont have a lot going on back home but i was silent for 7 days straight in japan lol.
Logan do you ever struggle traveling alone? Like directions, and ordering because of language barriers? I want to travel alone so badly but I have so much anxiety! Lol I love you!!!
This might be a little late, but you'll only struggle if you go to more rural places of Japan, but even then, you should be able to get by regardless if you speak to them with basic English. Places like Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto should be fine since they're used to tourists and will do their best to help you even if you don't know Japanese.
Visited Tokyo 1 year ago and stayed there for 1 month. I'm watching this video because I really miss there. I wanna go for at least 3 months next. It is a wonderful country and you feel so free there...
Spent 12 days alone in New Zealand, 8 days alone in the Netherlands, 8 days alone in Thailand, and about to do 10 days alone in Japan. It's the best way to travel.
Doesn't it feel weird when you gi out in the night to bars and stuff or do you just not do that? I would like all other things about travelling alone but going out to a bar solo would be weird for me
i love the travel vlogs! do you have any advice for those who are planning on traveling to countries where you don’t know the language? south korea and japan are on my bucket list
something i dont understand is how you describe something as the most delicious while showing you eating with a straight face ahaha. i would be going crazy over some of the food i see you eating. keep up the vids, love them
Hi Logan!! I’m really curious and want to ask this, but it’s super personal and if you don’t want to answer I 100% understand but if you see this and want to indulge my curiosity, how do you afford to travel so much?? I’m so happy that you get to see a bunch of different places in the world and live yo dreams :)
What was the burger place called? And what was the place where you refilled your drink loads and had lamb? I’m going to Japan for 3 weeks on a solo trip in November and they look amazing!! 🤤
I'm saving up for a Zojirushi bread machine because I found a recipe that promises to make bread identical to what you get in Japan. We'll see about that. I'll be in Japan next Christmas and New Years with my Son then the plan is for me to travel solo in China and eat my way through as many provinces as I can in 2-2.5 weeks. If possible, I'll add another one or two more Asian countries to my itinerary. The plan for 2025 is to visit India and walk in my Dad's footsteps. Oh, I almost forgot, Japanese pancakes are easy to make Logan; once you're back home, give them a try. There are so many recipes on UA-cam and I have about 200 Japan videos alone saved - places to visit, where to stay, recipes, a Japanese refresher course. Added to that I've got about 100 videos saved on China and food alone, plus the best places for accommodation.
FYI, Wagyu just means Japanese beef. You need to try a brand wagyu like Matsusaka wagyu if you want to try a good wagyu. And if you go eat at a popular tourist location, you get a tourist food. ;p
Just found your channel and watched 4 videos so far! Love your vlogs. Also was curious if you were from Canada since I saw you had poutine and Burger King.. the “bubble tea” confirmed it lol I also say that 🎉
Do you speak japanese? You seemed to really know where you’re going and how things work over there.. I’ve travelled before but only around europe and never alone. And im planning to solo travel to japan bcuz i wanted to experience it since i was a kid. A bit scared honestly and just trying to figure out the best way to prepare..😬 great video i really enjoyed it and the food looked delish!
you make me so excited to start solo traveling its insane! also, you're really handsome, glad you're from the states tbh! hope to chat with you some day 😅 take care!
Usually why Japan have a lot of tasty foods, 1, not all are drenched in oil, they thrive in natural and basic conditions (southern part of Japan has soo SOOO many fresh food markets that are farmed and hand picked. And their chicken inspection is high quality like 5 course meals with so many luxurious benefits for them chickens
Hi, Welcome to Japan. Your visit is alone, but, you are having the precious time which is not disturbed by anybody. I like your curious for eating foods everything! The way of using the chopsticks is very well. You are absolutely one of the chopsticks masters. The new experience is a treasure for yourself. Enjoy staying in Japan!
i love spending time alone because i’m very introverted. japan looks like a good place to solo travel bc the only thing that makes me anxious about traveling alone is feeling awkward at restaurants… but the restaurants there have so many spots for solo dining. love it
im exactly like you. i want to travel to japan next year alone. hopefully my dream comes true

I’m solo traveling Japan and its really fun! Highly recommend!

It’s not that bad !
Couldn’t agree with this more. Im from canada and this heat hit me like a truck. I got really dizzy the first day here because i didn’t take it serious been good after that day got water on me at all times 😁
I’m really happy to see you brave enough to travel alone! Life’s too short to not explore these amazing countries 😊
Japan was my first solo travel! Best memory was wandering around and getting ‘lost’ in Arashiyama. Felt like I was in a Ghibli movie!!
i love how your travel vlogs remind me that taking a slower pace (whilst solo travelling) is always encouraged! i get so tired when travelling solo.

Hey Logan, where did you go for that burger? It looked amazing and I’ll be in Tokyo in September and would love to try it
Did you think Japan was better for solo dining than Korea?? It seems like there are more individual booth places in Japan!
Going to McDonald's in Japan is worth it.
Because they have a Japan-only menu and give you a sense of peace of mind in a country you don't know. The burgers and fries are good quality, just like the pictures.

Logan do you ever struggle traveling alone? Like directions, and ordering because of language barriers? I want to travel alone so badly but I have so much anxiety! Lol I love you!!!
I actually wondered the same thing, my Japanese isn’t the best so I‘m scared to travel there due to language barriers

This actually what i did earlier this year! Brings back memories! No one to talk to but somehow the experience was 10/10!
Beautiful! So nice of you to share your adventures with us 💜 keep enjoying life!!

The pan cake you ate at Hoshino Cafe, which was a chain coffee shop, was frozen one and warmed by the microwave, maybe🥲
i love the travel vlogs! do you have any advice for those who are planning on traveling to countries where you don’t know the language? south korea and japan are on my bucket list

I would highly recommend trying tabled grilled hida beef with just plain white rice. Literally the best Wagyu experience I've had in Japan
Logan I love that you travel and take us with you ❤

Thank you for coming to Japan!
And I like your video style, so I subscribed and liked!^^
Take a shot every time Logan drinks water in his videos 😂😂😂

Japan is a top travel destination! I want to go back so bad!
Thank you for coming this far country
Hope you enjoyed here a lot 😊
Winter time is peak strawberry season! That’s when bakeries and combini will have strawberry only sandwiches 😁
Love this!!!
The way you eat makes food look SO good.
I could watch you eat and try new food spot the whole day 😍❤️ everything looks soooo good 😍
Just found your channel and watched 4 videos so far! Love your vlogs. Also was curious if you were from Canada since I saw you had poutine and Burger King.. the “bubble tea” confirmed it lol I also say that 🎉
