Banned cards: - Hey, Trunade!: Basically a great option to clear you opponent's backrow with just 1 card if you have the tools to otk and the reason of many archetype-cards being semi-limited in order to avoid disgusting strategies. - That Grass Looks Greener: The only card to be banned both in DL and the TCG for the same reason that many decks treat the GY as their second deck. Not too much to say about it.
I'd rock Neos if it mattered. Add Ancient Rules to the deck for that card. You have other options too, both outside the archetype and within, like Neo-Space Connector or the other companion in that subset.
One of my personal favorite SR cards in Duel Links is Skill Prisoner. The card may seem inherently situational but there have been so many times where it's saved my hide. What's really good about it is that the target protection is a lingering effect that lasts through the entire turn and some people don't realize that. In my Harpie deck specifically it is fantastic because it's completely unconditional in its usage and it has a surprise graveyard effect
Econ has been the catalyst for some of my best comeback duels. One of my favorites was grabbing bloom diva, and tributing it with my hot red dragon archfiend bane and then attacking for game.
enemy controller comes in handy in a blue eyes deck when facing another. the number of times ive used it to steal their blue eyes or alternative and syncro it out into azure eyes or spirit dragon is insane. just the other day i stole his blue eyes and used it to make a new ultimate. half my strategy in the mirror matches is just use my opponents field as materials too. and with master and the egg wanting to be in the grave they make excellent tribute fodder.
I was doing a blue eyes vs blue eyes duel recently, the guy used enemy controller on my turn to tribute his monster and steal my blue eyes...so I used my enemy controller to tribute my other monster and take my blue eyes back. And since he had no other defending monsters, I attacked for the win. That was hilarious. I even saved the replay of it.
Your videos popped up in my recommendations 3 weeks ago(i have no idea why, I've never consumed any card game content), so i watched some of them, then decided to start learning yugioh via duel links. Currently trying to build a HERO deck
Go to the store and find the old deck Destiny Rulers. Buy two of that for the Vision Hero Vyon (you don't need much else but hey you have those other cards too). Then buy Fortress of Gears to get Faris and Increase. Try to do at least two clears to get 2 of each, but it's a mini-box so going for three might actually be easy. Then you have your core Hero engine. Then you can go into Shark Fang for Stratos and possibly Adoration. As you're going for those cards you might end up with the pieces to some other decks too, particularly Aromas which are great F2P. I hope that works out for you.
Turning a battle around with Enemy Controller is one if the best feelings in Duel Links. Suddenly snagging a Blue Eyes or Cyber Dragon boss monster to win the game were a couple of my favorite instances. Also absolutely love how splashable Malevolent Sin is. It looks cool, it hits pretty hard, it helps tear down your opponent's defenses without activating any of their monster's effects. Literally every deck I have ever used has had this silly spider in it.

Not as widely played but one I appreciate is Forbidden Lance. As a Blackwing player in Duel Links, successfully sticking even a single monster on the board is simultaneously the most important immediate goal in most duels and the biggest challenge. The Normal Summon has to go through without any interruption to trigger Black Whirlwind, so naturally the Normal Summon is a huge target for all sorts of disruptive backrow cards. Forbidden Lance shuts them all down and guarantees my monster sticks around. Just ensuring that one normal summon, or the Synchro that follows if they prefer to hit that instead, can decide win or loss. Additionally, it also shuts down turn 1 Gaia if they sit on that for its quick-play destruction, so it won't have enough Atk to use its effect. Back in the middle school (like 2007) my favorite way to use enemy controller was to tribute summon seeing I was gonna tribute my monster anyway I might as well take yours and use that
Malevolent Sin's effect to increase its rank is probably to facilitate the spider rank climb. Using Rank-Up Magic spells or other rank climbing methods, it might be possible to go from Malevolent Sin all the way up to The Seven Sins in one turn. After two attacks, it can rank up to Pain Gainer, if it has both materials, or The Seven Sins.
one of my favorite plays with Econ is to steal a monster, then tribute or use it as material. that's why I run it in my Magnet Warrior deck to steal Level 3 or 4 monsters for Xyz plays. even better if I can steal a Rank 5 or 6 monster, then rank it up to Thunder Gaia.
Top whatever Archetypes that can only really work in Duel Links, either by being a small enough Archetype that it can't build a coherent 40 card deck or there is a skill that's essential for it.
The ironic part of this, for me anyways, is that Karma Cut is a staple in DL and yet I don't have a single one in game. Yet I've got a playset of them for TCG (That admittedly never got used much either).
Actually the increase in rank of Malevolent Sin can be pretty useful for rank up plays. Like you can use Bug Signal on it if it has enough to go into a rhinocebus.
Last Video was about how LV monsters were kind of a failure and how XYZ monsters did it better via overlays and such. Perhaps a video focused on that? Would be interested to see what the best monsters, group/series of monsters or archetypes are for that. (Utopia would be an obvious example but I'm sure there is more?) Otherwise I would like a video on archetypes with the best "unique" mechanics that actually work. Seems whenever I read through description of archetypes 80% are about swarming the field to go into Extra Deck summons, but then you have something like the Magical Musketeers or Sky Striker Ace which are a bit more gimmicky and really fun.
I think a list of the decks that have one the world championship would be so cool like the most recent one salamangreat, trickstar, dino y.z. or the older one like inzektor and gladiator beasts would be so cool But there are also like 2 tier 0 deck you already talked about yata lock and a wopping 3 types of chaos deck, its like 4 years in a row dominated by chaos.
Flood Gate Trap/ Butterfly Yoke Trap/ Scarcrow Trap/ Dark Hole Spell/ Psychic Blade Spell/ Gellen Duo card/ Vijam the Cubic Seed card/ backup rider spell/ Ben Kie card Trust me all these cards are epic :D

yeah treacherous always See's play even on a minor scale the only deck that honestly didn't care about it was harpies because it's hole thing is bouncing and destroying backrow to keep the field wide open for cyber slash and two others to finish the job.
before its ban hey trunade would definitely been at the top of this list. though id argue drowning mirror force should have been on this list instead of lighting vortex because its way more staple than lightning. lightning is not really a staple in duel links compared to other cards cause its too opponent deck dependent. and most discarding decks that are not lightsworn raiden or charge brigade users will use karma cut cause its more effective for the format due banishing being extremely powerful. blue eyes decks use karma cut cause with the stone it can summon out a blue eyes at the end of your opponents turn. the other thing that holds lightning back its the fact it sends to graveyard and if the opponent is playing blue eyes you just gave them a free blue eyes if that face down is a stone. in duel links banishing is way better than sending to the graveyard in many cases so lightning doesnt see nearly as much play due to its higher risk factors in duel links.
Realistically the only reason for which TTH is still not banned is that it's a box SR, and Konami only hits box SR/UR if they have REALLY hit the limit of decency. It took them a lot of degenerate decks to get them to actually ban Hey Trunade (which I still never expected them to do), unless literally every deck starts playing TTH over the other limited-2 cards, it's unlikely it ever hits the actual ban, or someone comes up with a deck SO degenerate that it just autowins off TTH every time like Onomat used to do off Hey Trunade.
I love how all of these are staples in the rare I think only the top 5 were staple in normal it was only power of the guardians Jesus I just can’t imagine UR especially since some decks literally play generic back row with an archetype as an engine

You forgot to mention Raiden is hot too. Those abs alone is deserving of a higher spot on the list.
Lmao, ngl you spitting facts
Back in the middle school (like 2007) my favorite way to use enemy controller was to tribute summon seeing I was gonna tribute my monster anyway I might as well take yours and use that
Malevolent Sin resets floodgate trap hole… had to learn that the hard way when dude flipped red-eyes slash back up lol
I'm loving this series even though I don't play Yugioh anymore.
Oh hey saw a Silent Magician LV 8 reference! The normal variant is my favorite UR in the entire game
one of my favorite plays with Econ is to steal a monster, then tribute or use it as material. that's why I run it in my Magnet Warrior deck to steal Level 3 or 4 monsters for Xyz plays. even better if I can steal a Rank 5 or 6 monster, then rank it up to Thunder Gaia.
Top 10 cards better in real life than in the anime/manga
Kiteroid is such a easy way to protect yourself from damage twice in a single turn.
i'm surprised that kiteroid was so low, like it's such a good card
Now will became a f2p staple to go for.
Enemy Controler been limited to 1 along side with TTH.
Loving the DL content!
Floodgate is definitely going on the ur staples list
I love using the Sin into Corebage into Gaia combo!
A SR staple of my decks is Skill Prisoner. Most people seem to forget its effect lingers through the whole turn
Top 10 cards that have extra an effect that is almost never used, for example black rose dragon or Gorz.
(Utopia would be an obvious example but I'm sure there is more?)
Otherwise I would like a video on archetypes with the best "unique" mechanics that actually work. Seems whenever I read through description of archetypes 80% are about swarming the field to go into Extra Deck summons, but then you have something like the Magical Musketeers or Sky Striker Ace which are a bit more gimmicky and really fun.
Top 10 rank 4 monsters that need more than 1 material
The last time I was this early was when TheDuelLogs was the number 1 yugituber
I think a list of the decks that have one the world championship would be so cool like the most recent one salamangreat, trickstar, dino y.z. or the older one like inzektor and gladiator beasts would be so cool
But there are also like 2 tier 0 deck you already talked about yata lock and a wopping 3 types of chaos deck, its like 4 years in a row dominated by chaos.
I'm surprised no Neos Fusion. I mean, no relevant now but deserved at least an honorable mention. Great vid, though!
Flood Gate Trap/ Butterfly Yoke Trap/ Scarcrow Trap/ Dark Hole Spell/ Psychic Blade Spell/ Gellen Duo card/ Vijam the Cubic Seed card/ backup rider spell/ Ben Kie card Trust me all these cards are epic :D
Karma Cut and Malevolent Sin are everyone's favorites
8th December 2022
Enemy Controler and TTH got limited to 1.
Rip the best f2p staples.
On the next "but in duel links" content
Top 10 best interaction between two cards
Great video love your videos btw
How about a top 10 decks that exist in the anime or manga and not in the tcg
Mirror wall is wonderful. I run 3. The best part is that it doesn't target
Top 10 cards that are heavily played in the TCG, but sees little to zero play in duel links.
Lightning vortex is pretty great in a stall deck & u need to clear their field to restock cards. Discard cards can be pretty good with cards that need to be in the grave.... Ik i sound like capt obvious but sometimes we forget the lil things
I dont know if he did this one but Top10 Monsters Used as XYZ Material that give extra effects when used as Material.
Before lightning vortex, there is hey trunade which is also used to otk your opponents and also sr rarity. It's banned tho.
top 10 duel links semi-limited cards just to prevent decks from using treacherous trap hole
yeah treacherous always See's play even on a minor scale the only deck that honestly didn't care about it was harpies because it's hole thing is bouncing and destroying backrow to keep the field wide open for cyber slash and two others to finish the job.
The end phase effect for raiden is not you “can “ send two cards it is mandatory … this is according to the card text shown in the video
before its ban hey trunade would definitely been at the top of this list. though id argue drowning mirror force should have been on this list instead of lighting vortex because its way more staple than lightning. lightning is not really a staple in duel links compared to other cards cause its too opponent deck dependent. and most discarding decks that are not lightsworn raiden or charge brigade users will use karma cut cause its more effective for the format due banishing being extremely powerful. blue eyes decks use karma cut cause with the stone it can summon out a blue eyes at the end of your opponents turn. the other thing that holds lightning back its the fact it sends to graveyard and if the opponent is playing blue eyes you just gave them a free blue eyes if that face down is a stone. in duel links banishing is way better than sending to the graveyard in many cases so lightning doesnt see nearly as much play due to its higher risk factors in duel links.
drowning is a UR
Drowning is UR
@@MEGASTRIX my bad i read it wrong i thought it said top ten staple cards missed the SR part lol
Please do Top 10 most used link monsters or Top 10 non-Number XYZ monsters or Top 10 fusion monsters that can only be brought out by polymerization !
Oh Kiteroid,our F2P players's best buddy in Duel Links's cruel P2W enviroment
I love how all of these are staples in the rare I think only the top 5 were staple in normal it was only power of the guardians Jesus I just can’t imagine UR especially since some decks literally play generic back row with an archetype as an engine
Has a top 10 waifu deck video be done yet? Assuming they can actually be decent outside of a duel links skill . So I don't know if Melodious would count .
He did a top 10 yugioh waifu video a while ago, but that was done as a joke.
@@Aloyus_Knight Waifu archetype is a little different, but yeah, I can it being done as a joke .
Please go outside
My duel links ptsd rolled up into one video
This video is pure Duel Links PTSD

Top 10 Fiend type monsters that have seen competitive play?
How about top 10 TCG redemption archetypes in Duel Links. The ones that didn't have a huge impact on the TCG but that saw heavy play in Duel Link: Lunalights, Super Heavy Samurais and Melodious for example.
