In lands both near and far, the world does see,
A rise in neo-fascism, a threat to liberty¹²³⁴.
From Germany's heart, to the Aussie sun,
The echoes of extremism, they have begun¹⁴.
In Germany, a synagogue, a target made,
A wake-up call, as fear began to fade¹.
A gunman's act, a day of atonement marred,
A stark reminder, we must always be on guard¹.
In France, the far-right finds its voice,
In school troubles, some voters make their choice².
In Italy, the discourse takes a turn,
As echoes of the past, begin to return².
In Australia, a mosque, a livestream view,
A horrific act, broadcasted anew⁴.
And in Canada, the Proud Boys may be gone,
But far-right extremism, it still lives on².
From the North to the South, from the East to the West,
The rise of neo-fascism puts us to the test¹²³⁴.
Know thy enemy,
Learn about the far-right, understand their creed,
Knowledge is power, indeed¹.
Keep an eye on local far-right groups, don't ignore,
Document their actions, explore¹.
Remove and replace their propaganda, take a stand,
Show them, this is our land¹.
Push public groups to oppose fascism, make a plea,
In unity, we'll ensure liberty¹.
Of direct action and community self-defence indeed⁵⁶.
In Switzerland, Operation Libero took a stand,
Against right-wing growth, they made their demand¹.
They reframed the debate, put the right on the defensive,
Their success in referenda, truly impressive¹.
In Denmark, Sherin Khankan, a female imam,
Faced neo-fascist threats, but she took a stand¹.
She led her mosque, challenged patriarchal norms,
In the face of adversity, she weathered the storms¹.
In the U.S., the Black Bloc tactic took flight,
Against fascists and police, they showed their might⁵.
And Anti-Racist Action, a reactive force,
Broke up public fascist presence, set a new course⁵.
Community self-defense, mutual aid, and solidarity,
Are key in our fight for liberty⁵.
