    Hey Greg, good video... but how come you didn't rotate or flip over the microfiber pad after it started turning black? It seemed that that residue was putting a layer between the pad and the radiator you're trying to polish. I would think you would retain the cut of the pad if you did. I could definitely be wrong on that point. Just saying...

    Funny question but can I use 0000 steel wool after spreading some polish? Or how would I use the steel wool because I can't find an applicator pad to take Oxidization off chrome on my bike. Please and thank you

      Hi Alexis! Try using an Orange Hex-Logic Hand Pad or Ball Buster Drill Attachment to thoroughly work the metal polish.

      Chemical Guys I have a quick noob question. I just started my detailing business and have your guys butter wet wax on the way. Should be here on Friday. Do I have to have an applicator pad to apply the wax or can use a microfiber towel?Thanks

    • @TimMSUK
      @TimMSUK 9 років тому

      katanamast279 It's quite hard to apply liquid wax with a towel but it can definitely be done. It is much better to use a proper applicator though. I also find it kind of messes the towel up even after it's washed. You only make the mistake of using a towel that had wax on it to clean a window once.

      +totally normal freak, It is referring to the petrol version 40 55 and 60 series Toyota Landcruiser. They have names like FJ45 FJ61 and so forth. The diesels are called BJ or HJ. The FJs had an F engine or an 2f engine. The HJ had an H, 2H or and 12H-T engine. The T stands for turbo.

  • @rileybrookes5048

    I know this is not to do with the video but with butter wet wax is it ok to apply it to the whole car then take it of, so there will be a little dry time???

    Is that possible to polish metals with a rotative polisher? Or it's a task that need to be done by hand?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  7 років тому

      Hi, thanks for watching our videos. Most metal pieces are too small, or curved to be used with a polisher, that's why it's usually done by hand with a bottle of polish, however in one of our videos we use the Ballbuster Drill Attachment, so you can use a drill instead of a random orbital polisher.

      Well actually I have a 50 mm and a 75 mm pad for my rotative polisher I think that they are small enough, but I cannot find cotton pad specifically for metals that have veltro to attach to these pads.

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  7 років тому

      Yeah, I would give the Ballbuster a try, you can pretty much fit that thing in anywhere because it can conform to the shape of tight crevices.

    Can i use this on cymbals and drum rims without problems. Thanks for any reply. Ron

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  9 років тому

      Ron deRosett Many drummers have used Heavy Metal Polish on chrome hardware, bass drum claws, lugs, and hoops/rims without issue. Test Heavy Metal Polish on an inconspicuous part of a cymbal to test for desired effects. Protect polished metal parts with your favorite Chemical Guys wax or sealant.
