RidersDX, I see a Fall 2024 release date as a good thing because, in case you don’t know, the original Epic Mickey was supposed to be released in late 2011/December 2011. However, Disney rushed the game by cutting the development time by a full year to reach store shelves by the 2010 holiday season, which explains a few of the game's rougher edges. So yes, if Fall 2024 is true, then they should take all the time they need as to not have history repeat itself.
In the Steamboat Willie gameplay, they added 2D animated water around the wheel of the steamboat, the original version had no water at all, adds to the illusion you're in the short
not to mention... in the Steamboat Willie section character and certain obgect have outline... like in a real old cartoon.
I'm excited to see all of the new changes to Epic Mickey Rebrushed when the full game releases.

I'm honestly happy to hear that motion controls are still an option for folks to play with! Having enjoyed the game in the Wii, I grew hella used to the controls, they were very natural and satisfying to play with, so I'm glad to see they're still keeping them.
Also happy to see that they're making the menu help track your quests a bit better, when I first played the game, I honestly forgot that side quests were even a thing, so I missed a lotta stuff on my first and second visit to Mean Street.
Fall of this year, ey? It gives them time to polish things up! The showcased gameplay showed a lotta things I liked (the graphics, so many details on the machinery, the oily look on the thinned out objects, the death cloud when a blotling falls into thinner, the boats also looked different and more fitting of the Asian boat ride theme I think), a couple things that were simply different (UI elements and whatnot), some that were clearly still WIPs (lacking sound effects and the projector level's music too), and one or two deliberate changes that I wasn't too fond of (the HUD, the stream you fire from the brush is now white, the blotling models being more similar to those from Epic Mickey 2), etc.
At least regarding the unfinished stuff, it's definitely gonna be worked on until the release, they's got plenty a time for that. As for the stuff I (and some others) wasn't too fond of, maybe they'll change it, maybe they won't, but so far, it's looking pretty good!
The steamboat willie level has gotten a few changes, like adding a switch to release steam clouds from the wistles.
And to reach the Film Reel in a new spot.

To add on to this every single Epic Mickey game was released on November! The original was released on November 2010, the sequel was released on November 2012, even the Power of Illusions was released on November 2012!
Epic Mickey introduced me to one of my favorite characters in the world. Oswald the lucky rabbit! the gameplay of the rebrushed version had one major difference no one else has pointed out I think. in the original on the upper level of the Asia building you used to jump on an air-conditioning unit and some green thing. in the rebrushed version, you jump on a raised platform that matches the building. I think its cool cause its like the rides Disney do.
THIS was one of the levels that I stuck on when I was a teenager. Now, when I get to play this on the PS5, I can look up on how to pass this level. I basically went around in circles in this level.
The Asia room is very different while the red ticket in the original game used to be more dark red now it’s more light red which I’m very excited about. As shown on 0:59 now they are showing the characters name while the original did show the original characters name but it didn’t had color in it while in the Rebrushed aka remake as shown on 0:59 it does. And it’s a lot more dark blue rather than the gray color we’ve seen in the original game that came out 14 years ago.

Also that top gear at 3:50 is something I don’t remember seeing.
I’ll stop pointing out things after this because clearly there will be many little differences between this and the Wii version, but those little steps you climb to jump onto the dragon are new. Pretty sure on the Wii version, you jump onto it from an overturned rowboat.

The original epic Mickey green slime is dark green in Rebrushed aka remake it’s now light green rather than the Disney interactive studios dark green color.
I couldn’t really tell in the gameplay but I hope that the painting and thinning is exactly like how epic Mickey 2 was on Xbox

Epic Mickey rebrushed will be on ps4 and ps5 but the creators said that Epic Mickey 2 rebrushed might happen if the first game’s remake sells really good
