I’m 72 years old and I wish I had a dollar for every time I make a walk down Canal Street and the surrounding area in the 50s, 60, and 70s.
As a young man I worked at D.H. Holmes department store and would have lunch at any of the great restaurants around the area.
I lived uptown so the ride home was the Magazine Street bus.
Love that city.!!!!!!!!
