Wow! Your repair of that seat was excellent! I so want one of those little lawn mowers! I missed my chance a couple months ago, it was exactly the one I want too. All Red DRM 500.
I had one of these new for 10 years it had a Kawasaki in it you have to look after the battery as it dos not charge . the cables have a tendency to seize up and the 3 belts Ware out to and the starter can go to. But If you keep on top of it it runs fine
we changed the belts and then it would only go in reverse then gradually nothing will not start all switches checked out good new starter, battery , solenoid good.. seems there is a piece of metal under the motor when you put it in reverse it sparks.. any ideas will help it will do nothing no tick no start
Can you explain a little about the replacement of the shift cables? Sounds like those were the ones you replaced. A friend began changing mine, removed them and I don’t know how/where to put them back. Thanks for any help you can give me!
mines green and yellow and i got it free with siezed and alighnment toed out coomplletly ,3 flat tires one missing, blade looks like they mowed all the rocks and left the grass . cables rusted or broke , engine also full to top with gas and oil. hasnt ran in 12 years. that was last week im mowin with it today. 2400 dollars new overrated .
@@Toronto_Life_Diary I'm tryin to start a yard service business so I been buying used equiptment . My thoughts for just now trying to mow with yard bug it I believe its more of a finish work mower like after cutting the grass with a normal garden tractor you can go back over it and get all the sharp corners and level it nice with yard bug instead of using pushmower

Sounds like reverse gear did not engage . Check the cables
I have one just like this I can’t keep a drive belt on it. It breaks after a few mowings
Sounds like the Belt is not line up
Could missing a washer do that
It could be. All pulley must line up in level . Especially when cutting deck up and down . It's easy to off alignment

Looks like this is a very tricky job Lori I have same problem.Even the local mower shop could not do the work and return to me unfixed.

@ 8:05 it shows the drive belt numbers. Shame it doesnt show the blade belt number. Someone thought to write the drive belts down.
Putting all the extra crap in the title is misleading just put the model number and the actual manufacturer, thus is a white mower. Nothing else.
Where did you order the parts from? I am having trouble finding a dealer.
