Literally: "Hey, if you screw up, no biggie, it's So'Vo'Kor. Today is a GOOD day to die." The intonation in Gowron's voice commands respect and a very Klingon comfort - the sort of tone that puffs out your chest and makes you feel just fine if you only live another few seconds.
"don't sacrifice come aboard my ship and meet your death honorably" hahaha!
*Asks the name, gets the sequence, blows up the enemy and murders the Evil Klingon*
Goons: If you kill us you'll die too!
Gowron: YOLO! *fires disruptors*
@AchangelTyrael Another interesting Fallout connection @SharpAngus reminded me about. Remember Tranquility Lane, how the "failsafe" in the abandoned house works? Same idea as this bomb "puzzle." The only difference is in Fallout 3, you're not waiting for a snail paced CD-ROM drive to find and play an "Exploding Ship" sequence then re-load the puzzle after each failure, and then end the game after 3 tries, thus negating any usefulness to the "Name That Tune" hint. >_
Beaming it or moving it likely wouldn't help. Anyone setting explosives worth their salt would have rigged the bomb to explode the moment its moved in any way, beamed or otherwise. Moving it or beaming it would likely make it go off.

The end of this part reminds me of the stupid criminal story where the robber went through the drive-through at a bank and sent a bomb via the vacuum lift then held up a remote detonator. The teller sent it back and turned off lift...Point being...just telleport the detonator off the ship...
@possumverde I've thought about this. It's a big oversight. I give alot of credit to Hilary Bader for putting the story together, but this is one place that could have used some fixing.
That is to say, it could have been annotated to include something that made beaming it out a non-option, like something that made the core blow if the detonator ceased to exist or fail to send a continuous signal. Maybe a transciever near the core that makes the AMCF fail. But that's all just Deus Ex Mayo.
@mlodge87 my guess is the device is more sophisticated than it looks, and that removing it from the node and/or removing the node far enough from the ship would somehow cause the AMCF to fail or explode or whatever. Otherwise they would have just ripped it off of the damn thing. But yes it does feel like it's an unrealistic plot device.
Btw, I got the sequence right the first time. 2 is always(almost) the lucky number.

this whole film is a museum of recycled props, including TOS wall splashing gobos. they're so old, they date back to when they were still called gobos XD.
That, putting his knife out when taking your food, giving you an order conflicting the one Gowron had just given you (nevermind that he was planting a bomb at the time), the dirty look he gave you after the Second Right of Ascention, ...

Gowron didn't know to not get on Worf's bad side. That's why Gowron is dead now.
I hated this part so much in the actual game. I had to write it down in the manual once I figured it out, lol. While I"m commenting I'd like to say thanks for uploading this on here :) I still have my disc for this game, but the quality on here is a lot better for some reason.
I'm surprised that Gowron didn't say at 1:49, "have someone pick up that veQ (garbage)."

OK, sorry, but you don't find out Alleria is a conspirator (when she beams out) until AFTER you find out Delak is. If you don't know she's a bad guy, why would you read anything into their little convo.

Yes! In the actual game, you're given 3 chances to guess by pressing the actual buttons, but as soon as you press the wrong button, KABOOM. It is the WORST part of the whole game!
OK, let's say for example that the correct sequence was simply [R] [G] [B]. So you try this...
. [G] BOOM!
. [B] BOOM!
. [R] [B] BOOM!
3 chances gone! Elimination is useless. What's worse is the only clue is the tones each key makes, but you don't know which button makes what tone till you press each one.
That frustrated me until my brother figured it out.
Can't they just beam it off the ship? Or shove it out an airlock?
