CrystalHollow I can relate to that. Its hard enough for us to explain things in general but trying to explain something percific is even harder when people should what it is. What I usually tell people is that is known as clumsy child sindrone but if they want to know more indeath about I will
Paul Banks I know right! it was dyslexia day one time, turns out dyspraxia's been kinda horseshoed in there too, and the teacher only mentioned it once, kinda quietly, while dyslexia got an explanation and everything. I wasn't even made, I was shocked, like "holy shit dyspraxia is actually heard of?!"
i know im 6 months late but i have to ask did you make a type when you said "dyslexia is more made aware" or is that a joke about dyslexia? Or should I have attended my high school english courses? (legit, i could be wrong english isn't my strong suit)
Wow this makes me feel so good. All of these people are so incredibly talented!! I've struggled with dyspraxia my whole life, and I will for the rest of my life, I'm only 17 but I'm an aspiring director. When I'm older my dream is to be high up in the TV and Film industry. This really shows that even if you have dyspraxia you can make it far in life!! 😌
Emma my god I know exactly how you feel ever since I was little I've aspired to direct films and thought times I thought my aspergers and dyspraxia would make that dream impossible but seeing so many talented people fight through the same problems I do really gives me hope
I have dyspraxia and I am proud to say the feature film which I have my biggest acting role to date has begun shooting today! I thought this was a great video by the way.
Useful information aside, the layout of this video was VERY nicely done! Very blunt, quick and straight to the point. As every countdown video should be, good work!
as a dyspraxic person, i just want to warn you ABA can be traumatizing for children. a good place to look for resources is the autism self advocacy network
Loved this video. I know almost all of these people have dyspraxia except for the first one and last two ones (I actually don't know who they are). I think you missed a woman who is member of the British Parliament (I don't remember her name). It's lovely that the first one is a member of the Dyspraxia Foundation, however, I think they all should be members and support it. Love you Krystal
Btw, I thought that is believed that Einstein had autism or Aspergers and not dyspraxia. Is any neurodivergence actually proven to exist in the case of Einstein?
There is a lot of overlap, I have several 'conditions' in addition to dyspraxia and for me there has never been a true distinction....In the case of Einstein tests have been carried out for a number of years on pieces of his brain but his brain was kept in a jar and then taken on a 20 year road trip, you should check out the story its quite ammusing.
regarding cara delevigne and daniel radcliffe they are both left eyed dominant right hand dominant and left foot dominant which may have contributed to it as it cross wired and einstein is fully left side dominant so his one is diffrent
This is Mind blown because I have dyspraxia and I want to go into Photography as a career and David Bailey is a Famous Photographer and I did a lot of research about celebrities with dyspraxia this is mind blowing me. Also, I like Daniel Radcliffe's movies. P.S Cara Delevingne OMG I have done a lot of research about her again mind blown right now. LOL
Finally someone who understands dyspraxia not one fucking person understands it at my school they’re telling me off for tapping and they make fun of me not being able to tie my shoelaces, ride a bike and swim very well...
The positives of having people who are talented and well known does highlight awareness about Dyspraxia, however, my fear is that it make the ordinary experience of dyspraxia less celebrated and esteemed. So for me, I'll just continue to ordinary and happy with that.
I have dyspraxia i am very disorganised and find maths and other some other subjects very very hard i also have dyslexia and dyscalciea is the worst of them in maths
I find it frustrating that dyslexia is more made aware than Dyspraxyia which a times pisses me off
yeah same
I have both and I find it frustrating that I still then have to explain what dyspraxia is.

my son was diagnosed yesterday with dyspraxia. I've got him in occupational and speech therapy and trying to get ABA therapy started.
as a dyspraxic person, i just want to warn you ABA can be traumatizing for children. a good place to look for resources is the autism self advocacy network
Wow! I adore Albert Einstein and he has dyspraxia like me. That’s so amazing!

I learned about Daniel having dyspraxia during a set of one of the movies...
I have dyspraxia and knowing that famous celebrities have it too helps me a lot
One good analogy for dispraxia is the genius professor who is always dropping his notes and can never remember where his room is.
The fact Albert Einstein has the same star sign as me and has dyspraxia too makes me so happy. Always had a fascination with him.

Andie Hernández Einstein had both aspergers and dyspraxia

Dysprasia and Asperger syndrome often go hand in hand.
It’s relatively common for someone who has dyspraxia to also have austism.
I decided i will anounce it here because so many others have lol yes im dyspraxic
This was an awesome video and kinda uplifted me. Thanks :)
WOW! Einstein was Dyspraxic ? 😲 Happy Dyspraxia Awareness Week! 🥳
