I’m currently at the end of converting a XLWB transit. We are also a family of 5. Like yourselves I find myself always explaining to people about how we will make it work to travel. This video has given my confidence in what I’m saying love the build and look forward to seeing your travels.
This is so lovely and dare we say it, shouldn’t matter what people say as long as the kids are happy but we always worry too it’s fine just enjoy travelling and the kids will have lush memories xx
I was looking forward to this one...the grand tour! it looks amazing and cozy and i think the pods are brilliant and the kids obviously love their individual spaces. One day when they are older your kids are going to look back to these times and be so glad that they had a childhood full of unconventional adventure i have no doubt about that!
Seen a lot of builds on UA-cam none as challenging as yours and I’ve got to say I was very sceptical that you’d be able to do it so well. I am just blown away with what you have done. You’ve not only made an amazing space that is incredibly unique but you’ve done it in a ridiculously quick time and it looks incredible. Hats off guys. Just wow!!!

Nice job, as the family grows will do a larger mk2. We started with a 4 berth caravan and ended up with a 30ft long 9 berth for 4 of us. The boys are now in there teens and are as tall as us. Having the extra space allowed us to install a woodburner and that was a game changer, just need to finish my 4x4 lorry to tow it with.
another great video, totally understand what you said about kiddies spaces, when our boys were young we toured Europe in our Burstner 747... 7 berth it was great fun as the boys were happy....most of the time..... your conversion to the Crafter is stunning.... you are going to make so many more great memories and I really look forward to your posts........stay safe......

Some nice touches, so tricky fitting all of it in to a van when you include the internal shower so well done. Cheers for the heads up on the swivels, got mine delivered Wednesday. Putting a Mule spare wheel ladder in my list now,lol.

Looks great! Well done. A race pod on top of the van might be something to consider in future - would mean you could raise your bed more - giving the kiddos a little more headroom and increasing your garage too. Best!

Very nice design and good use of space considering there are 5 people in the rig. I wouldn't have put the cooker right next to the bed though. Simply because you could have popping grease or someone could be sleeping while the other is cooking and the kids compartment is right below it. May have been better to put the sink there across from the bathroom. But overall a very nice build. Safe travels.

Lush van, lush couple, lush kids! So impressed what you guys have done in the time frame. Amazing use of space! Van is so much cooler than hippo motorhome, and works too!! If you can do a family of 5 there is hope for me n wifey as a two berth. Picked van up Friday, Mule Monday, Elite Saturday then our conversion begins. Great adventure for the kids learning more than at schools we use a pop up quest in the summer works brill for us extra space all the best
