Honestly imma have to agree with you.
I get around 2
Another fenny victim... too many
Powerful track... Never again will rap be this Great.... Oh how i miss the 90s
Our Culture on the MIC 🎤 can and I wholeheartedly believe will rise again. 💯
@@curtiswhiteheadjr1322 .... It's gone my friend... Today rap isn't even close... They just don't have it... I just learned to accept that it's gone and just enjoy the pass...
@@curtiswhiteheadjr1322 I agree with U brotha, my name's David Rose and songs like this, and Self Destruction need to be played NOW. Chang will come I believe That. Peace.
@@curtiswhiteheadjr1322 Impossible. So long as there is victim mentality among the community, it will never be this star studded with skill. This song is teaching young black people to rise up and be better, basically take accountability for your actions. Today, it's about shifting the accountability of making dumb life decisions on others instead of yourself due to the colour of your skin, which is ridiculous. There have never been this many prospering black people let alone black millionaires in the world until this era. I blame this on the mainstream media and the speed of mind viruses on social media.
Agree 💯 I'm glad I grew up in the GREAT 90's and experience it in LA to the fullest
They preaching non violence while Shock G straight murdering his verse 🔥🔥🔥
We need this Right now, 2022 and beyond.
Chicago
Still one of my Favorite DigitalUnderground verses! RIP Shock G
The James brown sample from one of his many successful 70s tracks simply called "untitled instrumental" was also very quintessential in the success of that rap song.. which only proves that the godfather of soul's creative legacy will always live long 🔥🎯👉💯🎤⭐💫💥
R.I.P Eazy E. One of the best rappers of all time!
Ice cube can you imagine Tupac
@@ja2415 agreed however this song was 1990 so pac was just getting on the scene he wasn’t well known just yet! Cube on the other hand was
As well had the realest last rap verse on the end of this song alongside with Public Enemy/Chuck D & Flavor Flav on Self Destruction too. No Sellout & live for the love of Our People ✊🏾 & hope they get along.
Easy E had a good line on this track. He told the truth It you can't handle the streets get the hell out
Dre absolutely murdered this track EVERYBODY came off hard lyrically, shit even Hammer was locked way in to this Classic!
Love this version better. JJ Fad verses was great and l
Glad to her more of Young MCs verse.
Humpty Nailed It. Can watch this part billion of Times!
Lord Finesse rapping with ice t was epic

@@Kiddro22 I think it's dj evil e brother
@@gilbertortiz9515 I think you’re right
This is the TRUE definition of Rap. Spreading positive messages to our people to lift us up and give good guidance.
Best thing to ever happen to hip hop.
I always liked this one more than Self Destruction but Loved the message of both and I was only a kid at the time....Wish this Generation would come together and do something positive like this
Young MC's verse was the best in the entire song imo.
I remember this version premiered and then they cut it
The MCs were spittin too much knowledge and we were listening. Especially Ice-T’s verse.
#StillInTheSameGang! ✊🏽 Only the calendar has changed!
@@curtiswhiteheadjr1322exactly! Then after in the early 90’s we seen shit change in the industry
This is the original extended version I never heard Ice Ts extra bars till this vid Very Real Radical Spit No wonder they censored it back in the early 90s This dude was ahead of his time!
1:44 Michel'le MEANT that shit in the first hook!
Eazy-E, WE miss you and Shock-G.
Maaan, I cannot describe the Joy and Power I feel seeing all these Mighty Melanated Musicians from bitd coming together to spit STRAIGHT FACTS and REAL REALITY on the 🎤! Every word and verse is still relevant today! My Melanated Kinfolks... #WeStillInTheSameGang! ✊🏽

Real Hip Hop.
I Love this version a whole lot better than the other one.
I really miss conscious videos like this featuring rappers from all walks of life coming together for something positive with a real massage.
Only thing is they needed some Asian people in it, they are pros at massages
@@Dan.Tebasco lol
We need this NOW!
This track should've been a motion picture! Similar to "Krush Groove", and "Straight Outta Compton". If I had a job at Warner Bros Pictures, I would've got this movie done in 8 weeks!
Bring this kind of rap back 2024 ❤
I used to have this on VHS back in the day and I used to watch it all the time
That little kid went on to have a successful NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers.
Amazing!!!
What's his name?
@@byronjackson3012 You Read My Mind.
What? Lol 😂 that's not LeBron lol 😂
I first saw this version on both Video Music Box and Pump It Up prior to The Bronx later having BET & MTV
Man memories I'm old lol
Def Jef's verse was 🔥.
As the body count rise in my hometown, Memphis, I had to come check out this classic from back in the day.
I got an idea, give me a minute
And if it makes sense, then get with it
What if we could take our enemies, feed em poison
Undereducate their girls and boys and
Split em up, make em fight one another
Better yet, make em kill for a color (Priceless)
I feel you homie I'm 2 hours away from you in Little Rock man we're having the same problems 😪
MC Hammer n Eazy E rapping back to back. ✊🏼💎 Powerful
classic. shaped my young years
Def Jeff, Ton Loc, and Ice T cane with the best message. The illest lyrics too!

Ironically dee Barnes and Michelle both performed in this song and dr dre beat both their asses

Joe Cool this is the original version,Other is radio version so it’s shorter.
@@eozedthere's a Remix which is longer.
I remember when this came out I was in High School in the early 90s when gang violence was on the rise across the nation and when it hit my city it was like covid-19 the police didn't have the man power to stop it 😪
I feel you bruh. This dropped in summer of 90 i believe. I was in high school in Cerritos, Ca but we had cats from long beach Compton lynwood and Carson going to my hs. most of em was cool though but sometimes shyt just popped off

Speak The Truth!!!
My baby ain't never hurt nobody! But he still got smoked at baby party 💀☠️
I ain't know dreymond Green spit the first verse 😂
Is this where bbd got the Poison sample?
The full extended ice t verse was best. Had this on tape.
This is not the full version. All you gotta do is listen to Ice T's verse and it apparent. Still dope af. What's even doper is the girls groups that dropping gems on this classic.
Yeah the actual full verse from Ice T was deeper.
why 2 pac wasn't in the West coast all stars- were all in the same Gang music video he had alot of positive words to say he was a very wise brother they always showed his negative side I seen videos of 2pac when they interviewed him in Dannemora Prison he was speaking some real shit he could have put it in a song
Mike Hunter he was still too young barely out at this time.
Yup dancing for the Humpty Hump. That's where he got his first up front rap..
Not where’s Quik, Cube, Too Short, or Sir Mix-A-Lot? Nope... straight to the Humpty dancer then... Kids these days, smh...
This was before he even first appeared as a dancer for humpty hump.
Dis my shit
Ice T / Drink Champs, Brought Me Here!!!
Awesome so besides the extended verses we got JJ Fad and 357 added on compared to the aired version which was great with them leading into Hammer's verse. So i think only Too Short is the big west coast rapper at the time who was not in here. Am I missing a big west coaster in that time period not in here?
Ice T's in New York filming New Jack City.
