Wish Mega Man 6 got more love than it does, it’s one of my favorites, and the music is sooo good. Great job with this one!
It's my favourite game in the entire franchise, actually! I also have fond memories of it as it got me through the night my grandfather passed away. So this game has a personal connection to me, but it's also one of the best designed Classic entries.
It's still challenging but there's very little BS in the game. Only one spot has any kind of unavoidable damage to my recollection. It's in either one of the X or Wily stages, but there's an E-Tank that, if you slide to get it, you WILL get hit from a respawned turret on the wall.
It's such a well-made game and looks amazing! I also agree it's soundtrack is FANTASTIC! Both versions too! The Rockman Complete Works, later added in Mega Man Anniversary Collection on 6th gen systems, stands toe-to-toe with the NES tracks!

Plant Man's theme is intriguing, it's not overly energetic and upbeat but not drawn out and melancholy, it's just in the middle

There's some magical stuff that happens with specific music with specific instruments that just makes it _feel_ like it belongs there. As if this was the original version and not the NES one.

Weapon: Plant Armor
Stage: Botanic Jungle
Fighting the boss in that armor doesn't seem very efficient. You'd think that because you charge it up and it breaks walls that it'd do more than 2 damage.
Not the best robot master in this game, but his theme (and this remix) sounds pretty good.
