Got lost trying to find a job site in downtown LA. Got sent to an LA Metro underground railway construction site. Blew my mind! Like 4-6 story pit that had heavy machinery operating underground big units. Made me think of “what else is hidden underground”
Awesome! I'm coming down to Los Angeles and hoping to check out some amazing abandoned places that I haven't had a chance to check out! Thanks for sharing!
Right after 6:46 you see a smooth stone wall, that's more really old stuff, and you see a cross section of it before seeing more brick. Those are valuable architectural observations if you can record them more it would be amazing. When you see these wood brick walls just behind other walls or rooms you know it was probably a huge old space before it was ever a car park. What was it used for at that time? It's multi layered and potentially ancient :)
It's the original red car line tunnel system it used to be open in the 1980's and could be explored. The high rise buildings and such have the foundations broken through and set in place. If anyone is wondering it is in Los Angeles California but they do prosecute trespassers so be careful not to get arrested.
@3:43 did you ever go over that wall? There's supposedly a way to access both the much longer abandoned (closed in 1929) Broadway and Hill Street tunnels from where you are. Supposedly there's an exit from the Broadway tunnel into a maintenance closet in the 3rd Street tunnel? Just found your channel, super stoked there's other people creeping around under the city.... Maybe see you around?
There is not enough room to squeeze through the top. I've been inside the other end there's not much but some burnt up cars in there and bad air. I wouldn't recommend accessing the other end. Dm me on IG @urbex_offlimits
At 6:46 you wiz past an old cement handrail, nicely carved etc. That's the sign you are into the original old stuff. All the other construction is built on to of it out hiding it. Watch for this clues esp if you trying to find these locations he goes to.
Los Angeles theater, n it's the church in Broadway we go downstairs where you go put your kids in the daycare n it a door take down there I've been there before when I was a kid
@@Urbex_Offlimits it is. These tunnels are used by government and churches for tr-fficking. And the area you said you have to squeeze into it goes far enough so you don't hear the kids screaming. People are keeping these tunnels a secret. The way you'll actually learn about this stuff is to listen to people with D.I.D. they are trained through there. Tons in Hollywood too. Multiple tunnels all over the state and country. Read the book Healing the Unimaginable by Allison.
Yall are talking about something else not related to the old rail car tunnels. Not sure what these tunnels under a church are sounds like old catacombs?
They should reopen it. Demo the Bonaventure Hotel since its in the way and is an old eyesore anyway and bring back the terminal and subway for a reactivated Burbank line.
@ponchoed The problem is that there is an apartment building that was built at the end of the tunnel in Glendale and also the Regional Connector tunnel is still under construction in the same area where the Bonaventure hotel is located.
Instead of all those people Homeless above ground in LA they should use this as temporary Shelter until you get on your feet & move out. Just a thought.
Problem Is the homeless wouldn't go there. Most if not all shelters have rules, no drug use, alcohol, weapons, and I believe you also have to be actively looking for employment. Most homeless you see on the street don't want the help, they'd rather live in the street and be criminals. Sad but true reality
@@Urbex_Offlimits Wonder if the addresses are known, then get the floorplans from the Hall of Records, they have everything for DTLA! I wonder if they've digitized anything?

Well actually the lights are slowly going out I was here a few years prior and all the lights worked but when I filmed this video half of them were burnt out. So I don't think anyone is maintaining this very often. But never the less its someone property.
@@Urbex_Offlimits If the Bonaventure Hotel was not built, Metro could have reused this tunnel to build a new light rail system in place of the old Pacific Electric trolley trains. At one point, this was going to be a bus way years ago but plans for that fell through.
