Currently trying to write/peform/record in a 1 live take and film a video on portakosmo every day till the show i have next thursday in ramsgate! info in description on the show and also link to download the songs.
You are one of a kind 💖 I love watching your videos, great examples of why all this technology should be perpetuated and lifted up and never forgotten and its all music'd by such a skilled opperator🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵☺😏💖 Your living the dream 💖
The stress of the video made me grab my coziest blanket and put it around my modular rack while telling it daddy will never put you an inch from a rising tide.
Open-range-audio will be the only way to practice any acoustic instruments outside of exponentially more and more expensive studios, as we become more akin to sardines... might as well bring the electronics out there too and get your feet wet.
I found your channel 6-7 years ago, maybe a little more. For quite a long time I stayed up to date with all your new videos because I loved them. Ever since I first found your content I was enamored, but one day UA-cam decided to stop showing you in my feed and before I knew it several years had gone by and other things decided to occupy my subconscious. Then today this popped into my recommended and I was pleasantly surprised. Stellar content as always, and I'm glad you never stopped creating
Beautiful as al your content; not only technical but also musically and artistically; it is always a pleasure to see your work. Please continue experimenting.
Haha I came here to say the same thing! All of a sudden I was transported back to the 80s watching BBC programmes for schools. Roger Limb would approve.
Truly brilliant and beautiful. I'm touched by these tunes. There should be a sheet music variant of this, so people can play with a Theremin, violin and keyboard.
Well this is the kind of music made in the early 70's , there was no drum box . reminds me a little the very early jean-michel jarre, not the famous albums but before in 72-74, but with a better sounds and better composition.
Beautiful composition Sam! The tension of the waves around your modular cabinets and the ever looming threat of the tape reel running out both contrasted and complemented the music captivatingly! 💖🎵💖🎶💖
The opening part sounds similar to Tangerine Dream's Tangram Part 1. Also good use of the Kent coast, just around the corner from here at Folkestone. 😀
This is a song that listening to it on a phone, laptop or tv does not do it justice. Play this thing across a good home sound system and you will find the gold!
Great video but all I could think of was the increasing risk of damage to the modules... reminded me of that cringey scene in The Piano where the grand piano is left on the beach and the tide is coming in round it.

That's cool that you have objectives and goals to write music. Reminds the rest of us to keep the GAS in check 👍
If the telephonic network is still connected to the internets that means it's connected to lines straight out to sea
Very cool performance. Thanks for sharing

Your living the dream 💖
La La
I love the combo of analog synths, a sunny beach, and a mad scientist all in one place
The only thing missing is a prehistoric furby rising from the sea.
my exact words
You'da loved goa...
A long time ago i came for the furby organ and stayed for this. Brilliant!
Also: i see what you did there with the sea shells 😁
Same here
Hahaha Dude me too 😂
I love this guy
The stress of the video made me grab my coziest blanket and put it around my modular rack while telling it daddy will never put you an inch from a rising tide.
my blood pressure went up!

Living dangerously there. The whole time I'm thinking; "That better not go in the ocean!"
I was getting a bit of anxiety with how close the water was to those beautiful machines.
@@RR4711 I know, right!?

Excellent music, as always.
Amazing as always. Your work really is brilliant.
LOOKMUMNOCOMPUTER is just getting back to the nitty gritty just some songs.... Sooooo so so good, thanks Sam, keep playing more songs... I love it
when your experiencing your own creation and an uncontrolled grin comes upon you!
Excellent!!!!
excellent song
What an awesome tune. I was getting Radiophonic workshop goosebumps hearing the MS. Love the video too. Well done my friend!
Haha I came here to say the same thing! All of a sudden I was transported back to the 80s watching BBC programmes for schools. Roger Limb would approve.
Lovely piece!😊
Truly brilliant and beautiful. I'm touched by these tunes. There should be a sheet music variant of this, so people can play with a Theremin, violin and keyboard.
Am i the only one freaking out for these synths just inches away from a sea water flood? :)
VERY NICE!!!!
I was waiting for the drums to kick in, but even without them this was a really good track!!!
Well this is the kind of music made in the early 70's , there was no drum box .
reminds me a little the very early jean-michel jarre, not the famous albums but before in 72-74, but with a better sounds and better composition.
Thank you for sharing. I just purchased those synths and I’m still working through the manuals. Your track is inspiring.😃👍🏻👍🏻
Enought to charm the sirens from the sea, love synthe sounds keep it up mate,
JUST AMAZING 🤩
Lovely tune and great sound. The happiness at the end when you get a good take is so relatable.
Was the thousandth like😮
excellent! keep on keeping on
The track was reminiscent of early 70's kids TV/radiophonic WS here in England. Nice vibe to it.
That song was really nice! Well done! ❤
great sounds
Fab tastic thanks for sharing.
Just another day at the beach showing off my favorite girls!
Brilliant, what a day at the beach.
I love the sounds and the fun you have whilst making music. I wish I could string more than one note together. Keep up the good work.
You're an inspiration, thank you!
Beautiful music, Sam. I think you have rare talent, both artistic & technical. Brilliant!
That sounded badass
Love your videos and all your gadgets
Love this
So banger so good!
Oh god this sounds so good
More brilliance
Made my day.
Was that a little nod to the KLF at 0:30 ish?
not intentionally
@@LOOKMUMNOCOMPUTER Made me spin up The White Room regardless :)
the video (bits on the beach) remind me of the aphex twin : on video from back in the day 😊 lovely tune!
Sounds like you should do an album with Belbury Poly. Wonderful stuff.
Love it!
great tune
strong plantasia vibes
Bravo ! encore !
Eine kleine Katzenmusik! Meow meow meow meow. Sounds so damn trippy :)
The sound drives my wife crazy but I love it ❤ thx you
Isn't that Pink Floyd?
Kudos my friend. That is spot on !
It did have a slight feel of early era Pink Floyd. Made me think of the Arnold Layne music video.
This is cool👍
I’m getting a Clockwork Orange vibe at first with less classical arrangement. Can’t believe you took those racks to the beach.
beautiful music. the synths so close to the rather unpredictable water got me worried.
Very Mort Garson!
Well good, love this. For some reason the start reminds me of the Stranglers a bit !? sort of Waltz in Black -ish
Good stuff! Synthesizers on the beach always reminds me of Mario Mathy lol
the Clockwork Orange is strong and haunting 🧡
That’s a great synth you’re rockin’ there….
The tide's coming in.
Mate?
The tide!
MATE!!!1!
I clicked just for the title!😆😆😆
Reminds me of the interludes in the series "look around you" brilliant
I love me some instrumental synth tunes with good harmonic layering.
Beautiful composition Sam! The tension of the waves around your modular cabinets and the ever looming threat of the tape reel running out both contrasted and complemented the music captivatingly!
💖🎵💖🎶💖
You have inspired a fair bit of my own music, thank you❤
This has to be a significant science experiment 😅👍
Your videos are so insanely cool!
The 10 on lead nice
Wow, caught this one early, nice.
Mort Garson vibes 😊
The opening part sounds similar to Tangerine Dream's Tangram Part 1.
Also good use of the Kent coast, just around the corner from here at Folkestone. 😀
Should have used a Seaboard as a MIDI controller for this one..
good one!
Sound close to a sound I hold dear. Plantasia :)
Everybody should take their synths outside sometime.
Love it
aaand it's in my playlist
With the waves coming in there, i suddenly remembered A Family at War ...
The modules he sells are synth cells for sure.
This is a song that listening to it on a phone, laptop or tv does not do it justice. Play this thing across a good home sound system and you will find the gold!
cool!
Great video but all I could think of was the increasing risk of damage to the modules... reminded me of that cringey scene in The Piano where the grand piano is left on the beach and the tide is coming in round it.
That is much better business plan than selling seashells, on a place where you can just pick them from the ground for free ! 😉
Awesome. If I was a filmmaker I would hire you to do the soundtrack.
Sam stacks synths, sighs on the sea shore.
Double check the tide tables!!
did you AI yourself on the shore with synths ? very cool ... luckyly you can repare easely if water damages !!!
No. Ai is no substitute for doing it the proper way
@@LOOKMUMNOCOMPUTER :-) plus you love doing it ! human is better
Reminds me of the outdoor performances by Hélène Volgelsinger
Funny how the song going forwards sounds cheerful, and the reverse sounds gloomy.
Just casually chilling on the beach with my synthesizers.
Synths day out. Did you take them for an ice cream?
I kept waiting for …”Mister Crowley…”
It made me think of Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy 😊
I can see my house from there!
Not really but If I go to my mums and stand on a garden wall I can see across the Bristol Channel.
nice melody and music.
Reminds me the early jean-michel jarre, but better. 😀
A Fish Supper on Altares Prime?
Call me a square, but from this triangle I was scared those sine waves would came in too close to the synths. That would have made me saw!
That's the good shit
This guy crazy
By the sounds of it she's selling more than keyboards... Like those fish and onion snack and plastic sun visors.
🔥
I want this great tune to myself….but I am a bit shellfish! 😳
This makes me think of Bernard Fèvre and his famous LP "Cosmos 2043". 🙂
Wendy Carlos vibes 👌
