  • Quick review of my newly acquired compact track loader. I purchased this machine 2 months ago and I'm pleasantly surprised at the power and agility of this Takeuchi TL8R2.

Nice machine just wish they stuck with yanmar engines. Dont care for newer kubota engines with emissions

Same here. I'm a fan of the Yanmar's. However I do like that it only has the DPF filter and I don't have to carry any DEF fluid as it's below the 75HP power output. Thanks for the comment.

I really like the Takeuchi ctl but I needed “H” controls and the only model that has that option is the tl10 and it’s a little to heavy for me to tow. I bought a new Case 310r and am very happy with it.

Doesn’t matter what make it is now. They all have emissions. If yanmar is making today will have the same shit

@@brianconner4854 true I just prefer yanmar, more torque, longevity, uses less fuel .

For every yanmar that has ( longevity) a kubota motor will outlast another. It’s luck of the draw. In general I know lots of guys including myself in taks with the dreaded kubota motors with nothing but hours logged. My guess is that the fuel consumption and ) torque) is so similar that’s it’s not worth mentioning

Thanks for your thoughts. I like that the screens are where they are because when you're looking at your bucket or whatever attachment you have on, your eyes don't have to moving up and down. Just a personal thing I guess.
I have mine being delivered this week. Will be running a trencher, auger, dozer/stick rake combination and slasher. Liked and subscribed. Cheers from Australia.

Thats dpf inhibit if working in dry areas when its up to temperature. Dont use it unless you really have to . Filter will clogg or machine will go into limp mode until dealer regens manually. You can regen manually without dealer

Cant regen yourself. Machine does it automatically

Yes. You can go into ReGen when your filter is clogged. Just push a button and wait for the machine to cycle.

Next invest in a good grapple rake for handling all that brush

The best way to level your property so that there are no low or high spots is to make yourself a drag. The longer the better so as to bridge the gap over low areas.

I do plan on building one. Just haven't got around to it. Thank you for our comment.
