I can say with 100% backing that RST is quality stuff. My son (21) and my daughter (18) started to track ride and I wasn't sure how ofter they would ride. So I didn't want to get them top of the line, expensive stuff. So I got them both RST leathers and boots because they were some of the cheapest. Bottom line, the quality is on par with bigger name brand suits and boots..

Rst is what I like to call affordable.
I have a rst race suit and boots and I can’t tell the difference in quality compared to my alpinestar… is very very well made and don’t get me started on the boots they have everything a 600 dollar pair of alpinestar has and I paid 159.00 thank you STG

These would be comfortable in most temps for most riders IMO. There is enough ventilation to keep the air moving when you are riding. The only exception would be a rider who knows they prefer heavily vented footwear. - Van

For size 8 go with the 41 Euro. - Van

If your feet are narrow to average width I would try on the 42 Euro. Now if you know you have wide feet I would go to the 43 Euro. - Van

Hmm wish these were around a couple years ago when I spent $200 on my clearance alpinestars. Ehh I love them though, just hate the white sole. Seems like all the stuff I like is discontinued and hard to find my size.

I know it's specific from track to track, but does anyone have experience using these or similar shoes for track days? Drag and circuit? Full length boots make riding a pain but I don't want to get stopped at the gate for improper footwear.

I would not use a short riding shoe like this for track days and would expect most track day orgs would not allow you on track without a full length boot. - Van

Dude... You are not kidding about laces... My Alpine star short riding shoes come with over a foot on each side. I hate it.. I wish they had more bungee type laces.
