That has a nice dark color even before rolling them. I've been doing a deep dark brown butter to get the correct color to go with sour dough. Then doing like 2/3 brown sugar to 1/3 white. proportion wise not the actual measurement.

Good idea. I’ve made whole-wheat chocolate chip before and they’re great. Will try whole-wheat sourdough now, thank you! Ps, overnight dough in fridge helps ingredients get together , plus a small sprinkle of salt on top of the cookies right before placing in the oven. Won’t regret.

Sourdough us lower in glycemic index. More protein and other awesome nutrients plus prebiotics.
