Thank you, I didn’t know the line guards were that expensive. I had to replace the two high flow lines for the mulching head, it was $1800. That was not a fun day.
Ha ha, I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do this. I mowed a 12 acre site for 3 months until my shredder was delivered. It works! Takes a while but it gets the job done.
Just added aux hydraulic line guard to my 299D3 today… think it was about $800 yikes. Getting ready to clean up my woods. Great video

It definitely works. The only problem I had was it over heated a few time, but it was over 100 that day.
Looks like a brush cuter on a tractor would be a more economical solution.
It definitely would be. I just don't have easy access to one.
