My father 59yrs old, is bed ridden since 1 year due to Rt side Hemiplegia... Since his D dimer was 3200, we started Inj fondauparinox 0.6mg OD for 5 days and then we started Tablet Rivorabaxan 15mg since 2 months.... Few days ago he had Gross Hematuria and we stopped Rivoraxaban 15mg OD at night.... Hematuria improved and D Dimer at present was 1200..... My question is... Should he continue taking Rivoraxaban 15mg Bcoz he is bed.ridden and d.dimer is 1200.....or should he take another anticoagulant tablet ??? Pls advice sir.. I am MBBS passed out...
