I'm not sure what I just watched. Bunch of dudes go ill prepared deep into the Mexico desert, break down multiple times, talk about DNA, claim they are hunting, yet miss the only shot taken, and then one of them disappears forever? Seriously, what was the point of this video Sig? It didn't make me want to buy a Sig Cross, that's for sure.
I enjoyed the clip because it showed what I consider to be a typical hunt for many/most hunters. The missed shot certainly wasn't the rifles fault.
The outfitters were ill prepared. Their equipment was poorly maintained, but from my overseas experience, many cultures do not have a word for maintain. Daily breakdowns should disqualify an outfitter. Great idea for a video but poorly planned. Better luck next time.
If you have spent any time in Latin America, you would know - They don't have the luxury of proper tools for maintenance, they don't have access to new and good parts. Hell, it is tough, just to get decent gasoline. They do the best with what they have. This video shows real world situations, I appreciate it.
