It looks very impressive, and what a great value at $499. I have the Omni Terminator, and it seems like Rlaarlo has hit their stride this year with thoroughly top-notch cars. I do wish they would stick to established scales, though, because there is already so much out there in terms of aftermarket parts. Thumbs up to Rlaarlo for coming so far in the three years since I saw their first product on Amazon. I'm definitely watching the brand with interest now.
Thus us another very good review of an impressive crawler. I know you and others have talked about the steering. I just watched tip from a long time UA-camr. To improve the steering. You have to go into the transmitter menu to servo and change the steering angle from 90 to 180 and then your end points.
Looks outstanding. I'm more of a features /scale guy over crawling. I agree everyone is dropping the ball on the ability to shut the directionals off. They could even step it up and give it a turn signal switch 😂
just a note; I have several ct8a transmitters (what comes with the truck) and while they do feel a tad bit plasticky compared to spectrum or traxxas overall I mean... I do have several. they work great and have lots of features. He never touched on it but you can power the remote with 4 AA batteries, a (very small because it has to fit where the AA batteries would be like 750mah or so) 2s lipo, or an 18650 battery and if you do use an 18650 you can usbc charge the damn thing cause fuck AA batteries. Honestly I can get over the plasticky feel because it has adjustments for tension on the wheel and trigger and even has ball bearings inside instead of just using the potentiometer. ntm its made together with a respectable company (HOTRC) and rlaarlo.
Nice video 👍 Many Thanks for your report with all the explanation…🙏 I have to admit that I am not a real crawler modelist, but there are a few topics I wonder a little at, if I think myself deeper into the segment of crawler RC cars, its goals, and what I would like to have, if I would want to go for such a model… • Of course, I can absolutely feel the fascination of crawling in the sense of going extreme ways no other “normal” RC car can go. Including all the technical features which make this sort of adventures possible. In this category the MK-07 seems to be OK. • However, in addition to the crawler performance aspect there are also many efforts made to achieve scale appearance in REAL looks and REAL driving performance. And in this direction I ask myself some questions… 🤔🧐😉 • REAL off-road cars like a “Jeep” (which is somehow the direction of the look of the MK-07…) can drive fast enough to be also used on normal streets within some sort of “normal” speeds. In this aspect the MK-07 looks too slow in second gear. I understand that it would be quite a challenge to drive a huge truck like the MK-07 with scale realistic high speed, but this is exactly the same with a REAL 1:1 scale truck. Well, drivers would have to be careful, but this would be the REAL reality of scale appearance. 🤔🧐😉 • Considering the low top-speed of the MK-07, I can not see much sense in the front- and rear-wheel drive option… 🤔🧐😉 And it would make no sense to just give the motor more power for more speed, because it would also affect the first-gear crawling mode, which would be only negative for performance. • It should be possible to switch the direction indicator function on and off. Nobody in REAL life is constantly using those while intensively manoeuvring in extreme, low speed off-road conditions, i.e. CRAWLING… 🤔🧐😉 • Every REAL truck is not driving around without a driver… a model that wants to be scale realistic just looks ridiculous without a driver… 🤔🧐😉 I know, this is a “problem” with nearly all brand RC vehicles, but I think RLAARLO wants to be a little bit MORE special with its RTR models, so in my opinion it would be a little, but quite nice touch if they would include a driver figure, or at least offer one (or even better more than one different versions…) in the proper scale… Keep on having a great RC FUN time…!!! @@Rlaarlo Hallo, I am really impressed by Your feedback… 👍 and I will happily keep on looking forward to Your developments… technical and business wise… Keep on having a great RC FUN time…!!! Thorsten 🌞
They done a nice job on it I think, the steering could be better but with its price you can afford to upgrade the servo. I’m thinking about ordering one myself, but nice review.
I think they over priced it for a Brushed system. This version of the RC should be $349 all day. After all its just a Rlarrlo and they are getting into premium pricing. For a brushless system and if it did come with some of them options that yours has like the wheel weights, then I could see the $500. I think Rlarrlo will be dropping the price pretty quickly when they don't sell like they thought.
Entry price is great for that rig! Awesome! I wander if they too have hidded a "normal" Jeep grill under that "angry face"... 😛 Greg, you're missing the 1/8th Jeep from Yikong/Absima in your Rubicon collection! 😁
This video is awesome! 😄 From the video, you can feel your love and professionalism for RC crawling. Every climb is an exciting adventure and your videos capture that fun perfectly. Hope to see more of your exciting content! 👍
I never understand when reviewers such as yourself will complain that the transmitter feels a little plasticky. It’s literally made of plastic. How else should it feel? 😂🤷🏼♂️
Some radios have rubber grips overlaying the plastic casing that help with the feel and some have a higher quality textured plastic that’s more comfortable. This is pure plastic feel, hence the “plasticky”. I hardly ever say it, so you know this one stood out.

What’s up New Haven! Yes, much easier. It’s hinged and once you pull the clips it hinges back easily and won’t fall back down on you as you change packs. Then drops right down in place perfectly and the clips are easy to get in. It’s a little more work to remove it completely because of the wires, but maybe that’s like 2-minutes.
@@rcdriver Oh nice! That’s a big relief compared to the SCX6. One day I want to take my SCX6 Jeep to the Appalachian trail in Kent, CT. It’s the same spot you a filmed a crawl. Maybe I’ll take this new Jeep too! Thanks for the informative video!
No. And I hate traxxas. I own two trx4s. Only because of the locking/unlocking diffs. I despise traxxas as a company. At this price point buy a trx4 that isn't a friggin jeep
It's a shame they sent you one with the skids and brass weights. I would have liked to see how this performed in a truly stock form. That being said, for half the cost of an SCX6, with a radio with an LCD screen, all those lights and servos...this is a steal, even with a few shortcomings. Wish I had the funds to pick one up.
While not perfect it is a great start into the crawler market for them. Hopefully competition like this will start getting the big name companies to start including basics like lights with the kit and not charging an arm and a leg to add them after you buy the vehicle. I give them a thumbs up for this, especially when you consider what you are getting for the price.
For 500 bucks with 7 servos? Just needs some conformal for the electronics. It's a steal. I think you got brass but think that's optional on the portals but the chassis is amazing!
With all these trail trucks being basically the same now. Id like to see them push for more realism and come with hard bodies. I mean these are trail trucks not comp crawlers so the added weight is a non issue.
Fail on the servo. On the SCX 6 you need to purchase a servo that's at least $200. Still love their effort and its a great thing over all for the hobby.
Seems a great first effort. I have an SCX6, but of course that's way more money & for occasional use, the MK should be just fine. Just hope they have long term parts supply. I often look at old rc videos & come across cars from minor makes that were raved about a few years ago, but now there's no parts. So an SCX6 may cost now, but it should still have support + a knowledge base years from now...
when i see a 'trail rig' being sold, I get the impression the company threw a bunch of spare overstock low quality parts, called it 'good enough', and make high profits from it. features are cool, but not fully expressed well like the poor turn radius, speed, light control, etc.
i'm 2 mins in and inpressed i mean all the body add-on's are allready there it looks awesome and i'm no jeep guy but i'd rock this (un-intended pun) not a bad price ether , i better watch the rest to see if somehow it becomes bad lol.... well i'm not keen on alloy plate type chassis other than that it's awesome (couple personal touches and sort the steering/bumper out and what a rig❤🔥)

Beautiful truck! Not into larger outdoor crawlers, I like the small scale for the wintertime in Colorado on those cold snowy days. But I was wondering if the Rlaarlo radio and receivers are compatiable with the Dumbo RC DDF-350? If so that make be a selling point for me in the future. I try to use 3 radios for my RC fleet.
Looks like the bought a Traction hobby 1/8 crawler and looked at the weaknesses they have and designed a new crawler with something better and some worse 😅
The features this has is what I've wished my SCX6 had. This truck for this price is awesome. Customer service be damned. I'll trade customer service for these features at this price every day. I'll even wait as long for delivery as i did for my Omni Terminator without complaint. Rlaarlo killed it on this. If Vitavon or another bigtime aftermarket awesome maker get behind this truck it's all over for $500 plus 10th scale trail rigs from big brands. I hope rllarlo keeps with large scale and builds us a giant 5th scale Terminator.
What a very cool RC. I love the look of this complete RC. The only pity I think is that the tires get stuck a bit quickly in the wheel arches. I think I'll put this on my wish list. 🆒🎦👌👍👋🍀
What a lovely machine, i hope the parts are readily available if it needs repair...and yeah the size of the servo has me worried as well, is there a way to fit a big size servo on there you think?
I'm going to have to pass. I'm liking what I'm seeing, but for the price they are asking for these, I'm going with tried and trued with aftermarket support.
RLAARLO’s “customer service” is by far the absolute WORST in the RC industry. There is a complete disconnect between their “customers service” personnel and absolutely anyone able to answer technical questions regarding their products. Questions go unanswered most of the time & when a response is given it NEVER properly addresses the issue. ONE RESPONSE I rec’d was “we are sorry, please contact us with any further questions”!!!!!! WTF!? Watching all you guys who I have the upmost respect for build up this company literally turns my stomach. They obviously have the ability to produce the product, but do not have any desire to provide any competent “customer service”!
Thank you for sharing your experience and bringing these issues to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you've encountered with our customer service. Your feedback is invaluable to us.❤
@@Rlaarloyea costumer service sucks and I been respectfully purchasing they products and they never show love by at least sending me an rc car to test out
Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand that durability and longevity are important factors for our customers. Rest assured, the MK-07 is designed to be a long-term product🥰We firmly insisting on doing the right things even though will meet a lot of difficults.
My recommendation is that you don't buy anything from this brand, I bought the AK 917 in carbon fiber for my son, and these sons of bitches from Rlaarlo sent me the car with the steering wrong, and when I go to adjust it I realize that it There is a screw missing from the servo horn, and when I removed the servo horn I realized that the small teeth it has are completely worn out, this is because the materials they use are garbage, apart from the signal loss problems with the controller Rlaarlo is a mafia now I have my poor son suffering for not being able to use the car, and the worst of all is that Rlaarlo's sons of bitches don't want to take care of it, and the car is less than a month old and has not been used nor a battery for the simple fact that with the steering like this it is unusable.
This company is garbage...I bought the Omni after all tge UA-camrs promoted it and it was a mess. They lied about shipping it, then wouldn't let me cancel my order and shipped it and didn't respond when i wanted a refund. Going through my credit card now. Really sad to see UA-camrs promoting this brand
There are others that love and swear by the brand. It’s like with any other product in the world. Not everyone will have the same experience. Sorry to hear your experience didn’t go well.

The lights and grill remind me of full-size jeeps. Just need some stupid rubber ducks to liter the dash, and it will be complete.
The steering radios is huge issue for me. Needing a two or three point turn is not good. Although, very cool.
Use dig for a tighter turn
Could it just be a weak stock servo? Or loose servo saver? I know my trx4 would struggle with high grip turning on the stock servo
I think the steering damper is the culprit
So it's not waterproof what better this or the sxc6 if money was not a problem I'm in colorado and we play in snow a bit how hard to made waterproof

Waiting for delivery can definitely test anyone's patience, but it's reassuring to know that the end result is worth it. ❤
What a very cool RC. I love the look of this complete RC. The only pity I think is that the tires get stuck a bit quickly in the wheel arches. I think I'll put this on my wish list. 🆒🎦👌👍👋🍀
Angry bird grill? Flashing leds? Just needs some scale rubber ducks on the dash.....unreal, not for me, cmon axial, where's your next 1/6 scale rig
What a lovely machine, i hope the parts are readily available if it needs repair...and yeah the size of the servo has me worried as well, is there a way to fit a big size servo on there you think?
How waterproof is it with all those lights
Do a speed test in rwd
There is definitely a grove where a seal should go for the receiver box i think you got shorted an o-ring on this one pal.
I'm going to have to pass. I'm liking what I'm seeing, but for the price they are asking for these, I'm going with tried and trued with aftermarket support.
Crazy features! Only thing missing is a engine bay!
Impressive for a new comanys first crawler
This is great!!
Jeeps rule👌
It's a little loud but this thing is wonderful!
Whoa!
Well, I just lost 500 bucks

Your feedback is invaluable to us.❤
100% agree! Good quality but customer service and shipping time is terrible 😣
@@Rlaarloyea costumer service sucks and I been respectfully purchasing they products and they never show love by at least sending me an rc car to test out
How is this guys comment the top one on EVERY review of this truck ???
Seems fishy his comment appears first on each channels review
Can you open the doors and use the interior to place a driver doll.
Sorry dude real offroad Jeepers don't run the lame angry eye grille HS. The Axial versions are better.
There is a LOT that can go wrong with that RC. 6 months an this RC will be pretty much non existant.
Cheap copy of the traction hobby cragsman
Meh maybe its just me but it seems pretty bland and uninspiring.
Another knock-off Jeep....yay...Led lights effects make it look like a cheap chinese toy from the dollar store with the blinking lights . Nope....pass
