We bought a 550 in 1963 and still have it on the farm. If I may suggest, when installing the hitch connect the top link first and the lower connections will just swing into place. Removing remove the lowers first and then the top. No jack needed. I'd also suggest that you tighten the bolts in braces at the hitch frame once it is installed and then the three mounting points will stay in position. lg

Don’t dismount tractor on right side with the engine running too easy to knock it in gear
Actually my shifter is on the left side so dismounting on the right avoids the shifter.
