- Did you know that more than one-third of the world's malnourished children live in India? We interviewed Chinu Kwatra who started an initiative called Roti Ghar to feed malnourished children across India. He and his team come out every day to feed hundreds of children in Mumbai and other Indian cities to ensure that they don’t starve on the streets. Up until now, they managed to provide over 1.4 Million meals in total.

I wouldn't compare specifically like that, though it is true, but I would better say that you can understand pain if you have experienced pain as well, because that how stuff simply works. For example, you wont understand me if you haven't experienced why I have, and vice versa.
That's why what we need the most in the world is empathy. We don't need to experience the specific suffering of others in order to understand their pain and help them...
The main problem is there is, parents don't have money to feed themselves and have so many childrens. So they will suffer from hunger. If they understand this then they had never suffer.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs states that at the base of every child, they need Food, Water, Air, Sleep, Love, Shelter, and to feel Safe. Children will not learn or thrive without these needs met. Chinu realized this, and is now helping these kids by providing a huge need, to help meet the other needs. This is truly beautiful.

What a beautiful man. He has taken his own experience of poverty, and suicidal depression, and turned them into the spine of his giving and loving spirit. To paraphrase the English translation of the Talmud; If you destroy a life, it's as if you have destroyed the world, whilst if you save a life, it is as if you have saved the entire world.
Chinu Kwatra has saved universes! I hope that his goal of being able to close Roti Ghar comes within his lifetime; I truly wish he could see the India of his dreams, where there are no hungry. I would love to see that, globally, as well. Much respect, from a Brit in the States.

It's amazing to me how one mama across the world can reach another mama thousands of miles apart. The mama in the video (in the pretty green outfit) was so heartbroken about her children not having food. She is very different than me in many ways but we have the same exact love for our children. I cried when she teared up ! We want the same food,shelter and safety for our children. We are all the same. Thank you for serving this mama and her babies . Where many of us cannot go or be , You are there. We send you what we can to help them .

All of us can help hungry kids in need instead of blaming rich people and the government. Even if it is a temporary relief of hunger. Buy biscuits at bulk and distribute it to kids begging for money at the traffic lights. Once a week or whenever you are comfortable, cook nutritious food at home and distribute it. It won't financially hurt you when you do this while buying produce at the wholesale markets. Instead of giving hungry kids money this is a better option.
Yesterday, I was out for some errands and saw some children begging and from afar a few men were watching them and making gestures to them and teaching them how to beg properly to get more money. It really broke my heart and I called a local NGO and reported this situation. If all of us contribute what we can then slowly this world could become a better place.

The wealthiest man in India is worth 72 billion dollars ... and you thought inequality in your country was bad ....
This what happens when our rulling government who has full of uneducated , corrupted, money hungry people representing the public . Full of corruption , we don't know if our taxes is being used for us or for their cars and houses. India youth is facing job crisis where maximum of graduates are jobless. On top of that over population government has to give free condoms and the birth information or family planning , many indians are still uneducated and education is useless based on marks not on skills one of the reasons we don't get hired for jobs. Indian education board and our parents have killed individuality , ideas, entrepreneurs . If the People whose dreams were not cut off who knows could have created a company or business and would create more jobs . India put on the 2 or 1 child policy. Brothers and sisters wake uppp .
How an average guy can do this to 1000 children, and the state can't do more? The world is totally messed up.
